I was able to get an appointment without any issues. They were prompt and finished quickly.

I am dissatisfied with both the price and service provided. The technicians did not replace the cap on the chimney and failed to remove debris from the outside cleanout. The inspection report they provided as incomplete as the job they performed. They quoted $200.00 for two individuals who were supposed to spend an hour on the job. However, the two workers took less than half an hour and left the job incomplete. I regret not having paid by check so that I could have stopped payment. It is frustrating to be a woman and the head of the household, attempting to manage my home affairs following the passing of my husband. read more

On time very responsive clean knowledgeable, those two guys clean out a fireplace that was built in 1977 and now we know that it was NEVER cleaned.... can you imagine the build up it was tremendous. We found Terry's Chimney cleaning only via Yelp and the reviews. Knowing that sometimes bad reviews are removed from Yelp I didn't know what to expect, but the service we received was similar to the other reviews, and we got a great service. Terry and his coworker (may have been his brother, they looked very much alike) came and inspected the fireplace and informed us that inside the fireplace, the top is flat, creating a potential for smoke to overflow out at times, and sure enough we have experienced that. They also told us that we can improve the suction by cracking a window and considering turning off our heater so that the suction isn't reduced. I'm not sure if the heater plays a role here, since the air inside the house is only circulated, so I'll try it out a few times to see if I can see an impact. It was great that they actually took a bit of time to clean the glass doors of the fireplace. They certainly didn't have to bother, but they did, and I don't recall glass ever been that clean. Upon request they also gave us information on converting our fireplace to a gas insert, which we have only considered due to this area of the house generally being very cold, but I still hesitate because we love the mood a wood fireplace creates. Ultimately the fireplace was very dirty, and they showed me how much buildup there was. We used the fireplace afterwards and our previous problem of smoke rolling back into the house was gone, so life's good. They obviously stuck to the price they quoted me, which was the price average chimney services cost (based on internet searches). read more

We started out shaky, but after the misunderstanding, Terry quickly got to work on my chimney. Still pending a finish because my flue is damp and wet from the rain. We found the reason why my pellet Stove was malfunctioning and I now have a fire breathing dragon for a heating source in my home. Dollars yet to be well spent . I called them 2 times. Both times Terry came out and said he fixed problem. Fireplace worked for about 2 days, then nothing. Had to call an electrician. Terry said switch was shorting out. Switch was fine. Wire connectors inside were incorrect and too big for wires. Electrician replaced with correct ones and everything worked properly. I like Terry, but he did not take the time to really find the problem. Will not call him again. read more

We just had A clean Sweep Chimney come out and clean the fireplace/ in our new home. It was pretty filthy and I could tell it needed some cleaning. also, our home inspection idicated that the damper was stuck. They came out within 2 hours of our call and cleaned out the fireplace/chimney. After they were done our damper was fixed! They even took the time to clean the fireplace doors, which was beyond my expectation. They also explained to us how our style of fireplace radiate heat and told us it was important to crack a window whenever we use it. In a nutchell, I will be calling them again whenever I need my chimney cleaned. read more

They came today and did a fantastic job of checking and cleaning the chimney/fireplace. They even cleaned the glass windows! Two of my grandchildren (4 and 8) were around and asking questions, and they took the time to answer each one. They came on time, and I just can't say enough good about them. Great experience with Terry and Greg. Punctual on there arrival and ready to get to work. Service called for my chimneys cap coming off, cleaning and trouble shooting my damper. I Knew something was up but wasn't sure. My chimney didn't need cleaning, my cap was fixed and Terry found the issue and fixed it right away. Very knowledgeable of there work and even gave me tips to improve my fires. Apparently the frame that was used when I bought my home was just getting in the way. Thank you for the tips and I will write another review during the winter to see how much more heat we get. read more

Yelp lists them as closed, but they are not closed. They (Terry and Gary Bozzo) had just been over to inspect my pellet stove. They found it to be quite outdated, totally worn out bearings, auger, etc--not worth the repair and a liability to boot. They were quick at the inspection, clean, and professional. They are also the only people I can find in this area who fix and install pellet stoves. The inspection was free, so I can't really comment on their prices, but I would use them again. read more
