And waited. At 2:15 pm, I got an alert on my phone saying that my appointment had been rescheduled to 2:30 pm. No one said this to me verbally, they just rescheduled the appointment on their computer from 4 feet away. I asked them what was going on and they got annoyed. They asked impatiently if I needed to leave the salon by a certain time. I told them yes, that I needed to leave by 2:45 pm. "No problem," they said, "You'll definitely be out by then. 2:30 pm came and went, and finally at 2:45 pm I got up to leave. "I have to go," I told the front desk person. "Okay," she said, "Bye then." They wasted 45 minutes of my time and never apologized. Anywhere is better than here.

They clearly explained their new protocol and every staff member was very patient with the guests! My wax specialist was Emily. She was so personable and is evidently a very skillful aesthetician! At EWC, they use hard wax exclusively which is significantly less painful and irritating than the type of wax you find at nail salons. I am SO happy with my eyebrows! It's been 3 long months without a wax and I left Emily's lounge feeling like a brand new woman! I will definitely be going again and requesting her.

I have a weird mix of long and short chunks for bangs now. To their credit a senior stylist 'fixed' my bangs-its better than what the original stylist did, but it's still a step below good. I realize I was given to a junior stylist, and it's a learning process, but I think she really needs a senior stylist to take her under their wing and mentor her. I certainly will not be going back.

During the intake process, it was super apparent that Julie wanted to understand how to best approach my treatment. She asked me what my goals were by the end of the facial, & I had answered that I wanted to better understand my skin in general, and I wanted to feel relaxed during my time there. Julie made sure both of those objectives were met! She had let me know that I had some dry areas (which I had no idea) and made many recommendations for different products to use -- I had been using cleansers that were way too harsh for my face.
