The goalie staff there were awesome and actually knew what they were talking about. One of the goalie experts helped fit me properly for pads instead of letting me wander around looking like a confused Transformer. They had an unreal selection of gear -- I think I tried on every helmet in the building before finally finding one that fit my head without making me feel like I was being compressed into a submarine hatch. Ended up getting a chest protector for an amazing price, knee pads, helmet, and skates. They baked and sharpened the skates right there too, which made the whole process ridiculously easy. Honestly, for goalie gear this place is dangerous. You walk in needing one thing and suddenly you're convincing yourself that spending hundreds of dollars on equipment designed specifically to get hit by frozen rubber is somehow financially responsible. Great staff, huge selection, and probably one of the best places around if you're a goalie trying to get properly fitted without guessing your way through it.

The best part of this store is that in general you'll find at least a couple of knowledgeable employees hanging around at all times. You'll often even find specialists, like goalie experts that can help you fit and select the right gear. If you need a lot of gear, I'd drive the extra distance to this store versus the Pure Hockey and xHockey options that seem to be sprinkled everywhere else.
