He gets great attention and the staff in the entire place knows parent's and children's names, even if your child is not in their class. We have a physical therapist that visits my son at daycare and she has seen many daycares over the years. She told me she can tell that the teachers really care about the kids and that's tough to find. It puts me at ease to know how flexible they are when it comes to food, schedules, and other preferences. I have heard so many scary stories online about daycare and I am so incredibly grateful that I cannot imagine picking my child up to find anything worse than maybe a little cranky mood or a mild diaper rash. We recently moved homes to a place a little further from Kiddie Kampus, but I knew we did not want to move too far so that my son could continue to attend here.

Here are a few reasons…read more 1) One of the teachers was consistantly late (ranging from pulling in the parking lot at 6 to being 25 minutes late) to open the center, which should be open and ready to take kids at 6am. Director told numerous times and left documented on the sign-in sheet. 2) The TV watching. Sigh. Okay, so every morning before the rest of the teachers get there, the TV is turned on and a movie or show is put in. TV every once in a while for a special occasion is one thing, but every morning...No. C would say, "I watch scooby-do mama!?" We limit his kids TV watching to but a few shows, Team UmiZoomi and Wallykazam. So you can guess where he was watching scooby-do. 2.1) TV continued - I walked in one morning to drop C off to see the teacher (funny, the same one that is habitually late), have Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist on the tv. WAY INAPPROPRIATE to be showing a bunch of children. I mentioned this to the director once. Another time i walked in to see them showing Maleficent. Having never seen the movie, you can still tell it's pretty dark. I talked to the director about it a day later, and apparently PG (maybe PG13..cant remember exactly) rating or less, they'll play it. C had nightmares for the next few nights. The director said, "Oh i wouldnt figure he'd have problems with nightmares." SMH. www.tvguidelines.org/ratings.htm. TV-PG Parental Guidance Suggested This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children. Many parents may want to watch it with their younger children. The theme itself may call for parental guidance and/or the program may contain one or more of the following: some suggestive dialogue (D), infrequent coarse language (L), some sexual situations (S), or moderate violence (V). 3) Teacher/Child ratios. Little C was 2 at the time he last attended LE. A lot of the times, I'd come to pick him up and he'd be in the room with the older kids (kids ages 3+, including school age). Why? Cause they had too many in the 1s-2s room. I do believe this is against state guidelines. 4) It was discovered C had staph due to scratching all day long at a mosquito bite. Was told the following day by the teacher that he had said he had an owie all day, after the fact. Did she even look to see what the owie was? No. Otherwise she would have seen C's leg was red and swollen from foot to past his knee. Thankfully he wasn't running a fever, or that negligence could have proved disastrous. 5) Most of the teachers there speak broken English. This proved to be the reason why C was not improving with his speech. Are they an affordable center? Yes. But at what price to your child's safety and development..

You just know she puts in a ton of work behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. The teachers are the best. They truly love what they do, and it feels like more than a job to them. My girls adore their teachers, and they're kind of like their little second family. They talk about their teachers outside of school a bunch so it really has a positive impact. The classrooms are always clean, which stood out to me when I toured several schools at the beginning. There's always a great mix of activities, and the kids spend plenty of time outside getting fresh air. Between my two daughters, we've had a child in every age group at some point, from infant to pre-K, and the care has been consistently great. When one of my girls had a phase of some behavioral challenges, the staff worked with us as a team to figure it out instead of pushing us away. Within a few days, things got better and she moved on from that phase. That's the kind of personal touch you get with a smaller school. They send pictures and updates, and it's just such a comforting feeling to know your kids are safe, happy, and having fun every day. We love Amore!

As a first time parent, I was so worried about it but the director and staff at Amore were diligent in finding a solution and making our child comfortable. Definitely helped lift a load off my shoulders. It seems like all the staff knows my little baby and he smiles when he sees them. We have been incredibly impressed with their nurturing, caring and professional approach to child care. We are so grateful for their team. I love being able to see photos and communicate with the staff via their app as well. It's so nice to read about what they have been up to that day and see a picture or two to break up my work day. The monthly Parent's Night Out was great for us as well because we didn't have a babysitter that we trusted in the early months. We had a few hours to ourselves while our child spent time in an environment we knew he was cared for and safe. Analiese and her team really work hard to meet the needs of your child and they really put a lot of work into their daily activities for the children's social, physical and intellectual growth. My mom is retiring and will be taking on the responsibility) Gloria of Little People Child Care is an angel and a miracle worker. She's one of those people who are genuinely warm and friendly. Are you worried that your child will not eat or nap? Gloria can work miracles and managed to get our baby to sleep and eat regularly along with the other kids. I love Little People Child Care because it's a family run business run in a house. You know she is a great parent with talking to her well-mannered boys.
