When I realized they double-charged me for standalone labor on overlapping parts that have to be disconnected during a strut job anyway, I questioned the bill. They also refused to perform a mandatory wheel alignment, falsely claiming it wasn't required after a major strut replacement.When I contacted the owner, Joey, to resolve the overlapping labor fee and the skipped alignment, he got defensive, offered conflicting numbers about parts markup vs. his $150/hr labor rate, and directly threatened to have a tow truck pull my car off my private property because I initiated a formal billing dispute with my bank. My car brakes went completely out, with almost no other option I had my car towed to these guys and in just under 78 minutes they did a complete repair with very friendly service and the best part is the pricing was very very affordable at around 600 dollars saving me hundreds on a SUV, it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. It's really 0 stars my car was just sitting up here for no reason for over a week because Aldo and Joseph were giving me the run around about fixing my cars engine, mind you I have an extended warranty. They were lying and saying they were waiting on my warranty company to get in touch with them so they can start on my car when the WHOLE TIME they just didn't wanna work on my car. I had to go up here and call my warranty company myself which is their job in order for them to talk to them on the phone just for Jospeh to come back and tell me "its going to be too much and take too much time to tear down your engine" like isn't that y'all's job?? just say y'all not qualified, yall don't know what yall are doing and don't work on engines. This place is very reasonably priced for car repairs. Needed by check engine light fixed. Dropped the car off and got a call 30 mins saying it was a bad temperature sensor. Replaced it for $270. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is cause they would not take payments over the phone. My mother in law was going to pick the car up for me but she did not have the money. My fiancé and I always bring our cars to get the oil change here! The manager, Joseph had amazing costumer service. He involves himself w/ the costumers and make them feel comfortable. A young man who respects his costumers. The other day we took our 2005 Jaguar for the oil change, and we left not noticing my fiancé left his wallet there. Joseph did everything he could to get a hold of us and when he did we went straight to him. As we pulled up into his shop we realized it was already closed and he was waiting for us with the wallet. Well, let me tell you that not anyone will return a wallet full of money! Not a dime was missing b/c Joseph and his staff respect us as their costumers. I took my car to get the wheel alignment on a Thursday, and the very next day, on Friday, I took it to the dealership for its regular oil change. During the inspection they performed in the dealership, they measured the wheel alignment on my car and determined it wasn't right and needed a new alignment. I love the A Autoworks Family! They're reasonably priced, honest about what you need fixed & gives you different choices of what they can do to fix your problem short term or long term. I've used them for many years & my mom even comes across town to use them. Sometimes they give you news that you don't want to hear, but it isn't their fault if a certain part is broken or how much that part costs to fix. Want a better price? Buy the parts & fix it yourself.... Sometimes we have to do that too... I've learned a lot on YouTube... I don't recommend this place for anyone, I took my car in for a oil change on 12/10/18 the so called mechanic removed my air filter trying to make a sale, I could see through the office window he was struggling to put the air filter on so I told the manager who goes out into the mechanic shop not to help but to talk with the mechanic, shortly afterwards my hood was closed and the car was out of the bay and the mechanic said it was ready. Immediately I popped the hood and discovered two missing screws from my air filter housing so I alerted the guy working on my car about the missing screws so he replied back saying it only had two screws, he then moves my battery over as though he already knew where the third screw was, I then told the manager about the missing screw and how the mechanic left the other screw next to my battery, he never investigated the complaint at all he just believed what his worker told him. read more
