You are only given a 1-week time frame from the insurance company to get it done and all of the places require appointments, and no one could fit us in in time. Tommy was able to have us come in same day and got it done for us. We are super grateful and appreciative for his help with this. MP Auto once again did a great job, clean, clean, and the price was spot on, exact to the estimate. Mike as always went over exactly what would be done, which I thought it would be a bigger job, and it wasn't going to be, so that made me feel even better. It has never been to a private mechanic not even for an oil change. She took it here for a paint job. We dealt with Miguel who at first seemed very nice and personable. We got the car back and realized water was coming in. None of the weather stripping or moulding was replaced. Took it back and another gentleman got very nasty with her and Miguel took over the conversation. Miguel refused responsibility. She brought it to the dealership upon leaving this establishment and they showed her where a tool damaged the gasket to the windshield. This has been a costly headache. Not only did the windshield need to get fixed but the flooring has mold from the water damage. Shame on Miguel and Maaco for taking advantage of an old woman. He did try to get me to bring her car in so he can try to fix the mold but unfortunately the damage is done and I wouldn't even bring my bike to them. The dealership (who doesn't offer paint jobs which is why we had to go elsewhere) also said the paint job wasn't good. They not only didn't buff the old paint off but they didn't buff the glue that was left behind from the gaskets they removed and painted over the glue!!!

This would cost about $200 with tax, after which I received a laundry list of items they felt would be needed to be fixed - wipers, cabin filter, alignment, coolant change, valve cover gasket, brake fluid flush, trans service amounting to $1975. Plus, of course, $943 for the 2 sensors which I wanted to have replaced. These 2 oxygen sensors by Bosch, on-line, cost under $100 each. Wipers had been replaced not even a month ago. This casts doubt on the whole list they "suggested" needed to be fixed. Please be careful when bringing your car in here. He will try to upsell you a laundry list of what he wants to do to your car. From the beginning, communication was a mess--they rarely returned our calls and we had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates. The tech we were assigned to was barely ever at the shop because he worked at multiple locations, and unfortunately, he never handed off our case to anyone else. To make things worse, he clearly didn't understand the process to complete a warranty claim, which delayed everything even further. Now it's April 10th, and we just found out they also weren't returning calls from the warranty company. That's over four months wasted with absolutely no progress, all because of disorganization and lack of professionalism. I had been putting off replacing my tires since the fall because we were waiting for them to replace the rims. Anyone knows you don't mount new tires twice if you don't have to. So now I have no new rims and my tires are bald. They dropped the ball every step of the way. Avoid Fonzarelli's at all costs
