Doesn't matter if it's in the checkout line at the grocery store, or when someone brings your food to the table as happened here. In fairness, 10 minutes later he did ask how everything was from across the room, and I (untruthfully) gave a thumbs-up. Fat Shack and every other restaurant asking for tips before service need to just stop. It's a hostage situation: "We're about to cook your food and can do whatever we want to it; would you like to tip?"

Every bite felt like the perfect example of what a burger should be. The season fries (shoestring) have a kick to them but never had better fries. I suggested chili cheese fries and hope they take that into consideration The atmosphere was calm and pleasant when I arrived (about 30 minutes after opening). It wasn't busy yet, but I noticed a few people enjoying their meals outside. The staff provided phenomenal service quick, courteous, and genuinely friendly, which made the visit even better.
