The Torta my friend ordered wasn't for me, and the pico could have used some salt, but the El Pastor Gringa I ordered hit so good. Served with a side of home mage tortilla chips and sauce of choice for the same price as some McDonald's meals. Wild. The owner operated vibe is on point and it is an absolute pleasure of a random detour, we will definitely be coming back and bringing friends on motorcycle day trips. Will try to come by on a Sunday as they make a weekly special on Sundays of traditional cuisine, from friend pork belly to ceviche. These nachos had cheese throughout the whole dish-no dry tortilla chips!! As our main meal we each had the Taco Mix Plate: three different tacos, soft shell with spicy sauce in a separate dish so you control how much to add!! Everything was fabulous and the staff was super friendly!! We will be going back again for sure!!

We started with drinks. Pooh's dad (Andre) and I had Bloody Caesars, Pooh had a beer and Marie a house cocktail. The cocktail was too floral. Our Caesars were great. For appetizers Marie and Pooh had mussels, Andre, a Caesar salad and I had the French Onion soup. Andre's salad was a good size; Pooh and Marie enjoyed their mussels and my soup was very tasty Before the appetizers arrived a panier of warm bread and buns with a delicious olive oil and parmesan cheese sauce was brought to the table We ordered the Table D'hôte. Marie, Pooh and Andre had the fillet mignon and I had the bavette (flank steak). The cook on the steaks varied. Pooh and I ordered medium-rare; Marie ordered medium and Andre ordered medium-well. Pooh's steak was medium and my steak was medium-rare at the thinner end and very rare (almost blue) at the thicker end. Pooh, Marie and Andre had a baked potato without any butter and I had french fries. We shared two bottles of Italian red wine which was an excellent choice for the steaks. For dessert we had the brownie with ice cream. The brownie was dry - we needed the ice cream to help get it down. Pooh, Andre and I had a Brazilian coffee to wash everything down. Marie was driving. The service was excellent. Our server Édouard was very attentive; always checking on us. He was pleasant and had a friendly smile. Our glasses of water were always filled without us asking. The bathroom was unisex.

We mostly came to grab a coffee, and took a mix appetizer plate which was very original and quite good. Pooh ordered the Smoked Meat sandwich platter and I had the Club sandwich. This was one of the best Clubs I've ever eaten. The mayonnaise was present; I didn't have to add more to each portion. The toast wasn't soggy and the bacon was crispy. Pooh's Smoked Meat was plentiful and just the right amount of mustard. Both of us had fries and coleslaw. The fries were crispy and the coleslaw was very tasty The bathroom was clean with a cool sink.
