When I sent my rescue dog into Solid K9 he was nervous and fearful to a debilitating level. He was great with people, great with dogs, but absolutely horrible with modern technology. The sound of a car door shutting would send him scrambling for the hills. After three weeks in the Board & Train program, his confidence had skyrocketed. He is still a naturally nervous dog, but the team at Solid K9 gave him a base level of confidence which I could simply never have provided him in a very short amount of time. They gave us the tools to work together and communicate. I recently went on vacation and dropped my dog off at the board and play program for the first time since his training. I figured my dog would obviously be nervous and bummed to leave me, but the second he saw the trainers his tail started blasting back and forth like a windshield wiper and he completely forgot who I was. He ran off into the kennel area without even saying goodbye. After that performance my vacation was 100% guilt-free. If you need better communication with your dog, don't hesitate to go with the team at Solid K9.

I used this service for my German Shepherd and Courtney was amazing but unfortunately just as the…read moretraining completed she left for maternity leave and we were stuck trying to get Jeff to do the follow up visits included in the package and was constantly given excuses for his failure to do the follow up training we paid for in the initial cost. It is unfortunate that we did not get what we paid for. I can highly recommend Courtney but I would not recommend anyone to try and engage with Jeff as it is a futile waste of time.

From their website: In Latin, the gladio is the sword. It was the sword that protected Caesar and defended Rome, and like the sword, the canine has also historically been by man's side not only as his companion but as his protector. Our history with domesticated dogs dates back at least 14,000 years, and to this day dogs have become an integral part of our day to day lives throughout society. Whether it is the family Shih Tzu curled up on our lap, the mixed breed rescue dog that goes on jogs with us, or the K9 unit German Shepherd sniffing out IEDs, our lives as we know them would be vastly different without man's best friend by our side. Owner and trainer Gerald Famiglietti has had a love and passion for dogs his entire life. After graduating with a bachelors degree in International Relations with an intense interest in security and foreign policy, he shifted his focus to one of the indispensable aspects of the day to day security that we take for granted- the role played by our four legged friends who protect our men and women in uniform and sniff out threats in the form of explosives, firearms, and narcotics. After receiving the dog trainer's certification by Animal Behavior College, he spent additional time learning to train police K9s and personal protection dogs at Tarheel Canine in Sanford, North Carolina

I called Ruffin Wranglers bc a friend of mine had used them in the past and only left bc she moved out of the area they serviced. The concept is completely different than any other doggie daycare I know. They come to your home, you have a choice of various time slots, they have a key to your home, and they pull up in a Honda Element with the other dogs in the area they have picked up. Your dog then gets to leave the house for about 2 and a half/ 3 hours to run around in beautiful fields with a lot of other happy pups. The staff encourages your dog to play and get lots of exercise in this timeframe that they need a day or two of sleeping to recoup. I am amazed at the transition my dog has had, she is 11 years old and has the onset of arthritis which caused her leg to shake a little in the past. She is now at the slimmest I have seen her and her leg no longer shakes. This constant exercise has done wonders for her. I can't say enough about how easy it is to work with them, they pick up your dog a minimum of 2 days a week, take her out, feed her when she gets home, and all while I am at work.

Wranglers has been a life saver. Our pet needs a good run and there are limited places in the city…read morefor this to happen. We found the official dog parks to be too unsupervised but he obviously loved playing when we took him to them. Then we found wranglers and now he has a safe place with loving attendants to go! The dog needs to be fully vaccinated so we know he is not being exposed to anything. we Get videos sometimes which show the dogs joy. And he comes home knocked out!!
