I've been coming to Jack's pretty much since they opened and I've always had excellent service. As…read morea woman, it means a lot to me that the service guys don't try to upsell me with unnecessary things and I'm treated with respect. The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars is because this past February I had them install a new battery. The problem is that a little while after I left there (I had been driving around a lot doing errands) my car died. I got it to start again, but I drove a little ways & it died again - right in the middle of Essington Rd, which is a very busy road! I was so scared that I was gonna get hit by someone from behind. I had to call my boyfriend to come give me a jump but each time it would only drive a few hundred yards (did this 3 x's to get it from Essington & Black to Jack's! Angry ) Ok, so here's the reason I'm still giving them 4 stars...when I finally got back there, I was pretty upset, but the manager took care of me & my car. The battery wasn't bolted down properly & he showed me why, then he put a brand new battery in & showed me that it was done correctly. Apparently the "kid" who did it was a newbie & didn't know how to do it, but my problem with that is that he didn't ask his manager! Anyway, it was all handled very quickly with the manager apologizing profusely and he gave me a free oil change and 2 extra free car washes. Listen, people make mistakes, we're all human, but the difference was that he accepted responsibility, apologized, and then gave me great customer service...and THAT'S why they get 4 stars & a lifetime customer! Thank you Jack's for remembering how to treat customers...even pissed off ones!

One employee directed me to pull in, so I followed his instructions. The other employee apparently didn't see that and yelled at me to stop. As someone who already gets anxious pulling into places like this, it completely threw me off and had me panicking--even though I was simply following the directions I was given. He quickly apologized from a distance, but never came over to apologize directly. The actual oil change was quick and the service itself was great, but as I left, all I got was another "sorry 'bout that." I understand miscommunication happens, but being yelled at for following an employee's directions was upsetting and made an otherwise good service experience unnecessarily stressful.

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely treats you like family, not just another customer. They're fast (like actually fast, it really does take about 10 minutes), but they don't rush through things. They check all your fluid levels, top them off if needed, make sure your lights are working, and even look at your air filters. It feels thorough without being overwhelming or pushy. The pricing is also a huge plus. If you sign up with them, they send coupons regularly. We recently got 50% off an economy oil change and $25 off premium, which is honestly such a good deal. It's rare to find a place that's quick, affordable, AND has great customer service, but they nail all three every time. We won't go anywhere else!

Tbh, I was way over due for a service and had a few notification lights on so I was really scared that I'd run up a fortune. The last time I had my car serviced was at Fuller's and for full synthetic oil, a 10 pt inspection, a new oil filter, and a new cabin air filter, the total was $200+. Idk if they thought they could jip me bc im a girl and i have a brand new car, but I knew something wasn't right there. This time around I researched a little more and decided to give this place a try since everyone was touting them for their honesty and reasonable prices. Walked in and was greeted right away. I came in 15 minutes early for my 9am appointment bc I wasn't sure what kind of info they'd need to take down since I was a new customer. Ended up being pretty speedy and I chilled at the dunkin donuts right around the corner. I saw them take my car in around 9:15 and it was out in about 30 minutes, maybe less. The guy at the front desk walked over to dunkin to let me know that they weren't gonna do a tire rotation anymore bc my tires were pretty much on their last leg and also told me that the air filter would have to be changed as well bc it wasn't installed correctly. I asked how much that would be and it was only $20 for the filter, no charge for the installation. My invoice came up to be $68! They replaced the oil filter, which was apparently included in the fall special bc I wasn't charged extra for it, full synthetic oil (at fullers this is $65), and the air filter. I wanted to cry bc it was so cheap, but I was also fuming just thinking of how much I paid for the same service (that turned out to be shoddy) at fullers. He also gave me a quote for the 3 tires that need to be replaced and even that price was super reasonable for tires. Overall great experience and I'm definitely returning for future services.
