We have video surveillance footage of them at both properties. Telling us not to tell AMBER the owner of the company certain things they were doing. Phone recordings of conversations showing plain ignorance and disrespect. There was no agreement, there was no contract, there was no bill of lading form. Our belongings were placed in personal vehicles without our permission. You should never allow something like that to happen in the first place. They took off and ran errands with our things. I'm sure that's when some of my things were stolen. You say you gave me this huge discount, yet I don't have anything in writing. Literally nothing but a receipt from your company. Not even a detailed receipt showing what was paid for ! You still have my card information, I have nothing showing that you do not. You and your husband asked for my card information 5 times ! When you said you needed it the first time to "keep it on record". For someone who says they have a multi-million dollar corporation, sure seems you have a multi-million dollar scam!!! This was just part of what I complained about to the owner of this company. I also sent this to the owner and she replied saying she was blocking me. Very unprofessional. So many of my belongings was either broken or stolen. I'm so heartbroken over all of this and what has happened to my things. The most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. DO NOT use this company if you want your stuff kept safe and unharmed, and out of some random person car. Or being stolen ! Most of our stainless steel appliances are broken. Scratched, dented, stuff RIPPED OUT of them. My deep freezer is completely caved in on-top. How they left my things is just insane. Also no one had a mask on the entire time! read more

2 guys came to my 750sqft 1 bedroom apt. at 2pm. Took until 7:30 that evening to finish. Loaded and unloaded. They pack and rap everything and anything to make the time longer. One of the guys had his lady in the car with a baby and breast feeding. he kept going back and forth to check on her. I left the apt. to meet them at my new place an they said they had about 45minutes left. no it took 2 hours. they even wrapped my shoes that i had in a box. My bill was i think 700.00 but the owner god bless her soul charged me the minimum. When i called and told her about the baby she was so rude she got the other guy on the phone and he did confirm this. They have no clue what they are doing so run fast and get someone else. When my furniture was all in my new place next day i noticed so many damage pieces and they cracked my TV. They emailed me the invoice and paid it and i assume they blocked me because when i call it goes to VM. Owner Amber is one rude lady and things she is in the right and everyone else is wrong. The initial conversation was just so simple, and the numbers seemed so competitive ($150/hour). Was there any way to get a contract, to commit to this price and move date? No, you don't send out paperwork until closer to the move date. I know that "trust" only works when there's a contract to which all parties are committed, but was foolish enough to take your word for this. We went through the details of the services, & you noted that your crews are professional movers who know how to properly pack and protect everything. There was an additional fee for refrigerators and washer/dryer, but your guys know how to disassemble, etc., as needed. A week before the move, I called to check on a contract--yes, we'll send it right away. Oh, and let's re-check the details, because I think we'll need another person, so the price will go up to $200/hour. Two days before the move, I call to again check on a contract. Oh, yes, we'll send it right away. Oh, and let's re-check the details, because it seems we'll need another truck, so the price goes up again. The contract finally appeared 36 hrs pre-move, and the price inexplicably up to $240/hour, plus the extra truck. No additional mover, just + $40/hour for some reason. That's when you finally sent the contract; the day before the move, and with prices hiked. Had me over a barrel at that point. Clearly, I was the fool for not finding a company that did their paperwork in a timely fashion, and would generate a contract in a timely fashion. But wait, there's more. The crew of four showed up in 2 trucks when promised, at 9am. The crew of four included two experienced movers who understood that they were there to work. One of them, Chris, did all of the furniture packing, diligently. The other two were kids. And when I say 'kids,' I mean they were immature, unaware that they were there to work, constantly checking their phones, needing continuous prompting to actually work. About every 30-45', those two would get into a discussion about their high school sports exploits. Until one of the other two guys or I would prompt them to do something. When I realized how inefficient this crew was going to be, I got going disassembling the washer and dryer. As we watched all of the boxes labelled "fragile" get moved on to the truck to the bottom of stacks of boxes, we began loading up things into our cars and called family to load up their cars. We were stuck paying for a crew of four, and getting a crew of two, plus a pair of kids who were almost useless, and never paid the slightest attention to what they were doing. Even Chris, one of the two experience movers, expressed regular frustration at the fact that he couldn't pack up everything on his own, and be outside prodding them to work. Then came the odyssey of disassembling the refrigerator. It took 75' to take apart; then the removal of a sliding door to take another 35' to get the frig outside. As Chris said, no one on the crew knew how to do this. Twice during the nearly two hours of dealing with the frig, I suggested to the two kids that it wasn't necessary for them to watch--they could continue to move other things. To their credit, they did so; then came back in to watch. That "professional crew" that could move anything? Not sure what job they were on, but it certainly wasn't our job. This 3 bedroom house, all boxed up except for furniture, finally found the crew driving away at 4pm. Seven hours to load this one house. Imagine what might have happened if we had a working crew of 4, and if they were as experienced as promised; maybe the 4.5-5 hours estimated initially. The next part of the move, an additional one-bedroom apartment in the same town, went quickly. As Chris noted, the kids were starting to realize that the day was getting long, and they wanted to get home. Left this location at 5:30, began the 90' drive to Raleigh, arriving by about 7:30. The unload went relatively quickly, and they were grateful to have the dinner we provided (in addition to the lunch we provided). And aside from the kids yelling at each other about their high school sports exploits in the driveway of this neighborhood until midnight--despite my repeatedly asking them to lower the volume--there was only one broken piece of pottery. Since unpacking, we've only discovered scratches on furniture. Lots of scratches on lots of furniture. Only a few that qualify as deep gashes which will cost hundreds to refinish, but upwards of 50 surface scratches on end tables, dinner table and every other piece with a surface. And, magically, in moving the fragile boxes from the bottom of the stacks in the truck into the new home, the fragile boxes again were put at the bottom of stacks. They drove away at midnight. 9am arr, 12am dep; 90' for meals, 90' for drive, that's 12 hours of "service." Imagine what it might have been w/a pro, experienced crew of 4; At $240/hour. I'm the fool, and I paid for it. Don't repeat my mistakes; go pay for a professional mover. read more

We hired A&M Friendly Movers to move our furniture to our new home. When the furniture arrived at the new home there were scratches and dents all over our dressers, buffet table and paint all down the coffee table where they rubbed it against the door frame. When we said something to one of the movers, his response was "You can expect a little damage when you move". No, I can't expect damage when I move. You should treat my furniture as if it were your own. We called the owners immediately to complain and they said they would get back to us at 10am on Monday. It's now Wednesday and they have ghosted us. Save yourself the headache and do not use this company. read more

I've had to use multiple different movers in my relocation from PA to NC because the move was done in stages. Finally, on the last move I got incredible service. They were on time, helpful in every way, took their time being very careful with all items, regardless if the boxes and bins were marked fragile or not. Because these items had been packed many months ago, they allowed me to reassess where things should be placed. I highly recommend these movers. They had a great work ethic, worked very well together, were kind to me and my dog and made certain that I was satisfied before they left. Very dissatisfied. I told the owner what size truck I was coming with and needed them to unload it and then go with me to a storage unit, load the truck again and then unload it at my new home. The crew was timely but the one guy wanted to talk more than work and the other guy appeared inexperienced. I heard the talkative one call the office and tell them they would have the truck unloaded in 3 hours. After 5 hours the truck was only 2/3 unloaded. He said they would return the next day. Two other guys showed up the next day and were great. However it was their day off and they were expecting the original guys to be there helping them. The original workers never showed. So, the second group walked off the job and I had to scramble to get another company to help me. Then the owner thought my friend and I were rude because we were upset at his company's performance. A & M picked up our furniture on 7/14/20 for a move to Asheville. When the furniture was delivered on 7/19 we found a great deal of damage to our dining room furniture, living room chair, and an antique table. We pointed out the damage to the crew leader who told us it hadn't been packed properly. He told us to report the damages for reimbursement. We spoke with Matthew and later sent the estimate from the repair shop on 9/2. Followed up on 9/28. On 10/1 Amber called back & we asked for approval for the repairs and an invoice for the move, which we had paid. (We still have never received the invoice.) We emailed the repair total on 10/11, 10/27, & 11/10. We finally paid for the repairs, which the repair shop verified to Amber. On 11/12 Amber emailed that she would pay on 11/13. Nope. We emailed on 12/18/20 & 3/26/21 asking for payment. Amber said on 3/26 that she would pay at the first of the week. 4/10 we wrote again for remittance. They have never paid! We had to report them to the BBB, and they would not respond to them, either. They are irresponsible at best and thoroughly dishonest at worst. Avoid them at all costs. read more

In the course of unloading in my new home, the owner's wife Amber inquired on the status of the move and referred to my belongings as "junk, a lot of junk" in front of my family as the second truck was being unloaded. She rambled on not knowing she was on the speaker about our personal belongings over 20 years of service and 30 years of raising kids repeatedly referring to our belongings as "junk" when she asked one of the movers to show her what was still in the truck. Then she asked "did she hear me?" and when told yes, she didn't apologize. She says " I mean stuff". When the owner, her husband Matt, called for payment, I explained what happened. He assured me I would receive a call the next morning from his wife with an apology. That was March 13th and it has now been 21 days and no call, no apology. I would not recommend this behavior to my military friends and family or my network. The young men that came to move were fabulous, hardworking, and professional. They were very attentive, eased my moving anxieties, and cared for my home opposite of the rudeness of their employer. read more
