Two days after it was approved we were on the books. Ken and his crew showed up at 715 and did not stop working until 5. I found everyone to be very professional, hardworking and respectful. They had the old drive way out in an hour. After the driveway was removed, they set about to remove all of the tree roots and debris that was in place under the original driveway. After this they dug the driveway and front walk forms out, brought in some fresh fill and then tamped the ground down solid. Pavers went in, in 4 hours. After they were through, they cleaned everything up and even washed the street. Run, don't walk, to Superior Pavers. High praise to Kent and his crew. Very hard workers! Thank you for respecting my home and treating it like your own. Thank you also for working so hard. Everything is beautiful!!

Very nasty people After waiting 4 month to have them fix…read morecoping, excuses after excuses, they started the job. And it's taking longer then I was told. They keep telling me one thing and doing another. No one is on the same page. Zero customer service. I am at the breaking point with them. I spent $7000 for a less than average job. Half the pavers had to be redone, then the coping started cracking and each time it takes months. Save your money, hire someone else.

Today is March 4, 2022.  The day that our deck is finally finished and it looks AMAZING.  Ken…read morestarted his work on repairing the tiles (they looked horrible) on our deck a little over three months ago. Can I tell you that whatever weather conditions are bad for the work he was about to do, they showed up.  I could go on for hours with all the things that went wrong due to a sudden change in the weather shortly after Ken thought he had finished the work on our deck.   He explained the process to me and after we agreed to go forward with the process he began his work.  If my memory serves me right it took about 2 to 3 days to finish what we thought the process would be.  On the afternoon of day three he had completed the process that he explained to me.  The deck looked really nice, quite an upgrade from the deck we had inherited when we moved into our new home. We discussed the curing time for the tiles to dry up and be ready for us to have a lovely deck around our pool (not sure how old this deck was).  He left and said he would be back tomorrow to see if everything was alright and we would settle up with the balance.  Now for the bad part.  That night there was a pretty extreme change in the weather and our home and deck was covered in a Gulf Fog when we woke up. Regular Fog is not too bad, but a Gulf Fog deposited a thick layer of Sea Salt on the not yet cured surface.  This looked like we had a winter snow on our deck.   When Ken arrived the next day I could see the look on his face which was basically "Oh My God". The salt had penetrated the sealer and gone into the tiles which ruined the whole job that he had done on the tiles. To make a long story short.  He was back time and again trying to find something that would remove the salt so that he could redo the whole deck.  During this time the weather was not conducive to performing the job.  It seemed that the longer things went the more salt would come back from inside the tile.  However, Ken stuck with it and finally found that Vinegar would reduce the salt and allow him to finish up the job. Today is March 4th and we are now looking at a very nice deck, one we had hoped we would have after Ken finished his job.  I will tell you three things about Ken: 1.  He knows what he is doing and no matter what the situation is, he will tell you and move forward to complete the job. 2.  He does what he says he will do and he doesn't give up. 3.  He is one of the nicest contractors that I have ever had working in my home. If you want your tile decking around your home and/or pool I would certainly call Ken and put worries away.  He will get it done. Many thanks Ken.  We love our deck now. Ken Mayeaux

HORRIBLE workmanship, after only 7 months this new job looks to be 10 years old! There are voids…read morewithin the asphalt holding water due to lack of base and thin layer of blacktop, areas that the owner calls joints that are literally 10 inches wide in many areas, loose gravel that deteriorates when in rains and breaks loose when you turn on it, weeds growing through the thin asphalt, some areas have tight aggregate while others are loose and breaking down, and the aesthetics throughout the entire job are horrible. I am glad to tell my friends and family that VINCE from ASPHALT PAVER & MAINTENANCE did this job when they are trashing the looks of it. His word means nothing as he makes excuses for why the job looks as it does all of which has been proven wrong by two other reputable companies. I am moving forward with litigating this issue in small claims but wanted other perspective clients to beware. I posted a number of pictures on my google review so look at the workmanship in the pics and know that the owner sees nothing wrong, and if this is acceptable to you then by all means hire this company. The pictures speak for themselves. I will put up more on reviews on a monthly basis to report additional failures as they present themselves to include the BBB along with his licensing agencies because this company and their practices should be reviewed and they should be held accountable as I am preparing to do. I will be happy to show anyone first hand what his workmanship is like if it saves them from this night mare. If a person spends thousands of dollars for a product and a service he/she should be able to expect more than this. I asked him if he would seal it for me once he came out to look at the issues and he offered to do it for 800.00. Anyone else who was fair would have sealed it for free once they saw the finished product. But the reality is that sealing it would just be putting lipstick on a pig, and would only serve to cover up the infrastructure flaws allowing them to prematurely break down and fail under the mask. They actually got to the root of problem, where as the other companies just touched the surface, which meant more maintenance to keep the areas clean and free of weeds. They also did amazing restoration of my 70ft beach with sugar sand. I was so impressed that I told them to sign me up for their quarterly maintenance program. I no longer need to worry about waiting to schedule my maintenance when everyone else is looking to do the same and I end up waiting several weeks. From beginning to end, the level of response, care and attention to questions/concerns as a customer was above board and expectation. The quality of the work, attention to detail and design for the project left nothing to be desired. The friendliness of the company personnel, from the basic paver installer to Joel the company owner was comforting during the life of the project. At the end of the project, we were very impressed with the level of self-quality control where several company workers and finally the owner himself walked the project and requested certain pavers be reinstalled due to small chips etc. that were observed. Timeliness, the project was completed on time and with incredible speed. In the end, we are extremely pleased with the end result. Our home was made much more attractive and the value to cost of the property was worth every penny. Many of our neighbors have commented on how beautiful the driveway and front now look. To end, we were so pleased with Florida Paver Savers that we immediately entered into contract with them for a project at the rear of the property for a retaining wall and deck.
