When I returned to New Orleans, I had my mechanic inspect the front suspension. THE BOLTS HAD NEVER BEEN TIGHTENED after they had performed the work. Not only could I have been killed by this negligence, but now I have extra damage to my struts that will require replacement. He also was very patient as I wasn't sure which oil I should use for my '05 F150 with 208,000 miles on it. So he retrieved Roger and we went over High Mileage with additives vs synthetic and standard. Roger also assisted with inspecting my tires when I pulled it up because I had concerns about them. He gave solid intelligent advice and I'm not concerned any longer. The work took about an hour on a Saturday in late July around 11am which is very timely. They determined a few minor issues to keep an eye on and made suggestions for the future without pressure. I called my mechanic in Denver and he gave me some tricks to try. When those didn't work he said I should stop driving it and get it to a mechanic. In a tough spot on the highway, I had it towed to Midstate Motors in Snowmass. Even though they were very busy and it was almost closing time, one of the mechanics came out and took a quick look at it and diagnosed and solved the problem in no time. I was outa there and on my way in no time. I couldn't be happier with their attentiveness and quality service. I will be back for future repairs. I would highly recommend these guys.

Our truck blew a spark plug at the top of the Frying Pan valley. We left our trailer by the side…read moreof the road, and limped down to Basalt for cell service. We googled Blue Mechanic in El Jebel and called them. Since it was 3pm on Friday, we weren't hopeful of making it back to our home in Denver for at least a few days. Blue Mechanic told us to bring the truck in right away and that they could fix it. They had to re-tap the threads for the spark plug and screw in a new one. They had it fixed in 2 hours and charged us a reasonable price. We were on our way back to Denver by 6 pm that night! Thanks so much for the quick help.
