These guys were very professional and took great care with our furniture. They take pride in their job. I would use them again.

I first contacted Shelly more than a month prior to my required move date and I was assured that…read morethey could get the job done. I received very little communication from her leading up to the move date after asking several questions that I had regarding the move. At the end of the day, I should have gone with the bad vibes I was getting from this place. They were a NO-SHOW the day of the move and I could not get through to them by any means!! Their voice mailbox was full, they never answered the phone and wouldn't return my texts. I was packed , ready to go and needed to be out that day! Luckily I was able to hire a different efficient company that had me moved from Marble Falls to San Antonio by the end of the that day. Several hours later I received a text, apparently from someone that works there, saying they were still willing to do the move. By that time the other company had almost finished loading my stuff. I thought long and hard about leaving this negative review but finally decided it was time. This move was too important to me and that whole mess caused me additional stress that I really didn't need at the time.

Wow, but not in a good way! If I could give zero stars I would. We hired this company in advance…read moreto move my elderly parents (88 and 81) from Granite Shoals to The Woodlands in Houston. We should have known there would be a problem from the get-go. First, they got lost on the way to the house. Then only two showed for the job when we hired three. The discount for one less mover....$10 (seriously). Since we had flown in from GA and driven in from Dallas, we still moved forward with the paperwork. They walked through the home and said it should be an easy load since all but the furniture was packed and the majority of the boxes and small furniture pieces were already in the garage. It was lightly raining when they arrived. They got to work and loaded several pieces onto the truck. Within the hour there was a heavy downpour. They expressed concern for the furniture. Both my sister and I said we were good to continue. They opted to wait the rain out. We suggested preparing the pieces in the house with plastic wrap. Instead, they chose to sit in the truck. Thirty minutes later the rain had stopped. I came out to the truck and let them know we were good to proceed. After an additional 15 minute wait, the two guys came in and said they can't move in the rain because it isn't safe. This didn't make sense since they arrived in the rain that morning and started to load the truck. They proceeded to tell us that they were short-staffed and had worked 25 hours straight. They also had a big job in the morning. They stated that they looked on the radar forecast and it was supposed to rain in Spring TX. Clearly, our move was not convenient! Their solution, come back and move several days later. Not a viable solution since we had traveled specifically for this date and time. We called The owner to let her know this absolutely will not work for us and she hung up on us. She instead sent a text saying we were ugly and swearing at her men and they were afraid of us - a 52 and 60-year-old woman who had been up most of the night preparing for this move. Our only cuss words were "this is Bull Sh*t" after they told us they were leaving us in the lurch. DO NOT USE PRO MOVERS PLUS. They are anything but professional. It did not rain the rest of the day in Granite Shoals and never did rain in the Woodlands. My sister and I had to rent a 26-foot UHaul, find workers that day to load it and drive it ourselves to Houston!

Smooth move, friendly guys, very reasonable pricing and would hire them again. At first I was…read morereluctant to hire someone out of Austin but they did great.

All-in-all the packers and movers were very nice. They worked quickly as well. When we were…read moresurveyed we were told that it would take 6-8hrs to pack one one day , 6-8hrs to move on the second day, and that they would need two trucks. We told them it would be less because we were going to be doing some of the move ourselves which we did do. In addition, we asked if it was okay to leave things in some of the armoire and dresser drawers but just tape it up. We did this when we did a DIY move from another state to here. We were told yes. We also had newer boxes that had been donated to us to help cut the cost. On the day of packing, the packers told us we were "taking hours from them" because we had moved so much stuff ourselves. We also showed them the boxes they could use. We were told they would use some of them. However, the larger wardrobe boxes were not used so we had to pay for them. The lead packer said she felt the dressers would be too heavy for the movers if we left stuff in there. On the bottom was glass so I understand why she packed that. I said okay you can empty one of the TV stands since there was a lot of stuff in there. However, when they were done they also emptied two of the armoire drawers, which was not organized and had junk in it. Had I known I would have packed those myself. By doing so, they mistakenly packed our spare car keys even though she insisted "we don't pack keys". Well they unfortunately packed the spare car keys which I was able to find that day by unwrapping boxes to find them. On the day of the move, they did bring two trucks so they would not have to lose time going back and forth to the apartment twice. We had told them they would not need two. However, to justify it they put some stuff in the second truck. I think (I could be wrong) they were trying to make up some of the money they could have made had we not moved some things ourselves. I could not find some things (this is normal) but in one of the boxes, I found they packed my workout sneakers and my stationary bike shoes (in the shoe boxes) with stuff from under the kitchen sink and two small frying pans. I think this is inappropriate. We are still unpacking so I am not sure what else I will find like this. I do take some responsibility for not being organized but it did cost more than we hoped since we moved some things ourselves. Were they professional -yes, were they quick - yes. I should have been more organized as well. I do wish they had used more of our newer boxes than their own materials to help cut the cost. I do recommend them but make sure you are organized and are able to watch as much as possible to see where they are putting things.
