Our server was extremely attentive. It is clear that there is a family atmosphere as you watch the employees interact with each other. The menu is large & has many options. They even offer some all day breakfast options. We ordered the onion rings that were good. We also had a cheesesteak with fries & that was also good. We left the museum famished and in the mood for burgers. So happy we came here as the service and food were both great! My company got fries topped with cheese and smoked beef brisket, a twisted burger with fries, and a cheeseburger with fries. All the food was cooked perfectly, well seasoned. All the French fries had that textured of old fries refried. They were super crispy in outside and stale dry inside. We were famished so we finished it all. We were told they had really great brownies so we bought a piece and also a lemon pound cake. Both were so yummy. The brownie was a more cake less chewy and the amount of sweetness was perfect. The lemon pound cake was a perfect sweetness and lemon combination. I was sad that we didn't get the mango ice cream, we just couldn't fit it in! Next time! The ambience of this place is very old school pub type with antique nostalgia decore all around. The restrooms were clean as well as tables and chairs. An easy place to spot on the main road with plenty of parking. Behind the pub is a rail so you do feel the shaking of the train as it passes lol. The service was friendly and fast. Came in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant and my server had me seated within seconds. The staff were friendly with me and also with the regulars, chatting about family and friends, etc. I ordered the special for the day which was two eggs, home fries, a grilled muffin, and bacon. It came with an orange juice, as well. I chose the cranberry orange muffin and I'm not lying when I say it was amazing. Grilling the muffin added a little more texture and the warmth was A+. The bacon was perfectly crispy. The eggs and home fries were as expected. They had several types of hot sauce to choose from, which I appreciated. We came in on a weekday at 6pm. Service was very good. The food was meh though. I got the ribs and they were clearly reheated and on the dry side. The baked beans were a bit strong on vinegar and the smoked Mac n cheese was dry. My husband got brisket and it was ok. Not great. We ordered broccoli salad but the dressing was spoiled. Joni and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly, and you feel like you are family while you are there. My wife and I have eaten here many times before and never disappointed. Customer service is have it their way not yours. I asked for my omelette to not be overcooked. Johnny said we can't tell Anthony how to cook the items because it would offend him. My omelette came out with lots of eggshells and raw onions, so we know it was made with fresh eggs. Our biscuits and gravy were unexpectedly made with onion rolls and the gravy was very sweet. A server immediately approached us with menus and offered to get us beverages. The drinks were served and specials explained.
