Went to visit the shop and was presented with two options for my team order. I selected, placed my order and indicated when I needed to pick them up. My order was not confirmed until I called back nor was it what I actually ordered! I was not contacted to see if the replacement I was ultimately given was acceptable, which it was not. His comment to me was,"Well, I didn't charge you extra for the height". Unacceptable. But my team needed them that night and I was stuck. I would not recommend ordering here because you really don't know what you are going to get.

Weeks later, they flatly told me they sent it to two of their "watch specialists" and there was nothing they could do. So much for that. I took it to Farmington Jewelers, and Gary was able to fix it no time at all! It was so nice to have an true knowledgeable professional to be able to talk directly to in person. I'm so happy I found a "go to" place for watch repairs! They also have a very nice jewelry selection. Although I didn't need anything now, I will keep this place in mind for the future. Was told that it's under new management and that's the new owner would not honor anything towards the repair. I understand.... And probably would've gone ahead with the repair, but the lady I had spoken to was incredibly rude about it. She told me that if I had gotten the ring there in the first place it would've been a better quality. The original repair cost me $180 with a diamond stone replacement. I was then quoted $252 to replace it with a CZ stone.

I drove over an hour (that's how important this was to me) and visited to see their work and bring a sample of the bottle to work off of. Meeting was great and work I saw was beautiful- I was sold! But, he said he would be leaving in a week and I would be in good hands. WRONG! The woman who took over was horrible- no design input, insensitive to the subject matter and just looked to find reasons to upcharge for every little thing even though I had discussed everything with the original man I signed on with. I finally had enough and just pulled the order. A waste of time and effort- huge disappointment for such a promising place. Do better.

Beautiful salad bowls, soft scarves, and now colorful face masks (complete with nose wires and non-woven filter inserts) have found homes with my friends and family. This season, for a cute gift, I'd recommend a fiber art clutch purse, a face mask, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer (green tea scent) - it was a huge hit for my mom! Carol has a lot of in-depth knowledge both about the products themselves and the artisans who create them. Many products are made locally, and ones from further afield are carefully curated. Carol has been especially accommodating during the pandemic. She has lots of info and photos on her website (including options for online shopping and shipping), can arrange video calls for questions, and she is happy to arrange curbside pick-ups from her store.
