I take my 6 year old here and he feels like royalty with the hot towels and massages. Great haircuts! A little pricey but worth it! read more

Great barber shop! I take my son and it's the only place that has ever cut his hair. Wonderful staff and spot on cuts. I don't even need to look in a mirror because they know what they're doing. read more

This barbershop is the real deal! They're the only place I've found in Dayton that does a detailed cut, razor shave, hot towel, and shoulder massage treatment. For a good price you too. The service is exceptional and very much worth the money. All the barbers are fantastic but I recommend Alex for first-timers. It's always a 45 minute vacation going in here. Everyone is very good at their job. I go often and take a barber available. They are all good

I was in town for the Hamvention and desperately needed a haircut. This barber shop was a short distance from the hotel, so I decided to give it a shot. I checked in at the front desk with my name and what kind of cut I wanted. There was only about a five-minute wait. The haircut was quick and efficient. I got a nice treat with the steaming towel and the shoulder massage. Nice touches. If I ever get back in Dayton and need a haircut, I will return to A&D. read more

This place is awesome! They really go out of their way to make sure that your hair looks exactly how you want it and it's a very clean and nice barbershop. Went there for my first time today and it was such a good experience and they also give a military discount which is super cool. read more

Awful haircut. One of the worst I've ever had. Should be $10 for the quality but it's 40.

This is a chop shop. Mike ignored my very specific requests and just hacked away wildly. Worst haircut ever in 75 years! Terrible unless you're military, like your hair buzzed, or trying out for the role of Samson. read more

The "barbers" at A&D "Barber shop" are absolutely inexperienced! My 18 yr old son has gone there a few times, and each time, has wasted the $30+ that is cost for a haircut. Apparently, when you speak up and show a "barber" a hairstyle, you get told, "This ain't Great Clips! If you don't like the cut, I'll refer you to Mike, who cuts longer hair." Mike the "barber, who is supposedly specialized in being able to cut longer hair styles is NOT a specialist! My kid came home with a butch cut! Look out boys and men... It looks like the "barbers" only specialize in side parts and beard trims. Save yourselves $20+ and head on over to Great Clips! read more

My husband went in for a head shave and beard trim, and came away with a mess for a beard and cuts on his scalp. So my husband left a bad review on Google. And the owner felt it was appropriate to insinuate my husband is cheap and that he was sent by another barber to sabotage the business. read more

A&D Barbershop - Owner's response to a bad review - Barbers Near Me - Fairborn, Ohio

This place is amazing. We are not from Dayton and are just passing thru but decided to stop and get a haircut, and we were very pleased. Myself and my business partner were both walk-in , wait was about 10 minutes, and we each got amazing haircuts. The barbers took the full time, took care of every detail, and really made sure we walked out happy. It's the only 30$ haircut in my life that I feel like they could have charged more. read more

I have been to quite a few barbers & hairdressers in the Dayton area over the years... I've been going here to get cut by Elmira for years now. The vibes are very professional and friendly. It's very obvious they care about providing high quality cuts. They are very affordable for what they provide. I always try to leave a generous tip, as I am always very happy to have consistent cuts I love. Always try to recommend them to anyone who asks, as I know it's likely they will get the best cuts here. read more

May be the best haircut I ever had? Used several tools to cut various places. Cut hair in and all over my ears, trimmed eye brows too! After the cut, got the hot lather and straight razor to clean up around. The only thing he missed was mustash, but I can do that easy. A hot wet towel to clean up all afterwards was very comforting. The station had all kinds of modern tools including its own sink your neck fits into for a shampoo if you opt. Nothing was mentioned about it. But the sink came in handy when the razor came out. Clean, very modern, but still retains that old fashioned Men's barber shop feel. The barber was kind, courteous, respectful, and professional. He took his time and was not rushed. Very happy! Will be back! read more

I had an appointment scheduled for 3:00. I walked in at 3:01, my barber made me wait until 3:25 to start cutting my hair because I was late to the appointment by one minute. Will go elsewhere. read more

I've been going to A&D Barber Shop for a little over a year now, and it's been a fantastic experience! Elmira has cut my hair how I like every single time. I could not ask for a better barber shop, both with getting my haircut and how professional the staff are. They use all top shelf products and conclude the cut with a warm towel. If you have ever thought about going to A&D Barber Shop, I highly recommend it and ask for Elmira. read more

Quality is there heritage. Military guy here. I've been going here for a year, and couldn't be more happy with my experience each time I sit in the chair. I have my regular barber there, but the others on the team do just as great of a job. These are real barbers, not stylists. If you're serious about a haircut that projects professionalism and ensures you look squared away, these are the barbers to go to. I recommend A&D to all men who are serious about the image they convey. read more

Pity I can't give a zero.... I've had onIy one worse haircut in my entire life, and for $35.00 I expected a hell of a lot better. All the hot lather, hot towels, eyebrow trimming and massaging in the world couldn't polish this turd. I asked for a layered cut and got a Boot Camp buzz job, I wanted feathering and I got a High and Tight.....either this barber doesn't have scissors or he couldn't be bothered to use them. He obviously didn't listen to what I asked for, he just whipped out the clippers and started whacking, I was SHOCKED when I saw what he had done to my hair, I'm almost ashamed to go out in public, it's that bad. My only saving grace is that it WILL grow back......If you have an important occasion, and want to look your best, or unless your in the military and have to have a buzz job, stay the hell away from the Butcher Shop!! read more

A great place that has the best of the old fashioned men's barber along with modern equipment, clean, and feels higher class than the old places. Had 3 or 4 different barbers and a great cut each time. Discounts for seniors. they have an online appointment system but do take walk-ins. I went in as a walk-in once and didn't wait too long. read more

Great place. Got great haircut from Elmira. Will come back when I am in town. She was awesome.

Tried this place per someone's recommendation. Called in Monday for an appointment on Wednesday, show up and it turns out they didn't put me in and say I'll be waiting 45min-1hour when i had already drive out 30min to try this place out on time for my appointment. Not professional. read more

This is the cleanest, nicest, professional barber shop in this region. The rest are "fast food". Great service. QUALITY!

Alex was great. Awesome haircut and the VIP treatment is no joke! Best cut and shave Ive had stateside. I will definitely be going back. The place is clean and tidy. The prices fair and service was not rushed. read more

I am in town on business and stopped by A&D Barbershop today for a quick haircut and beard trim. The shop is located in a shopping center across the street from the Holiday Inn (where I am staying) and very near Wright State University. The shop is either newly opened or very well maintained as it was spotless. There were 5 chairs and 3 barbers working when I arrived. Although pretty busy, the man who appeared to be the owner was cutting in the first chair and greeted me as soon as I entered. I got my haircut/beard trim from a petite, dark-haired woman working at the second chair. She was pleasant, professional and thorough. Since I travel quite a bit, I get haircuts from a number of different places. Her work was up there with the best of them. The cost was $25 ($20-haircut & $5-beard). Considering the level of customer service and quality of cut, I felt like it was a bargain. If you are ever in the area, you can do no better than A&D Barbershop. Highly recommend. read more

Great barbers. They know how to treat their customers. Pricing is fair and service is FANTASTIC! If you're looking to pamper yourself try the VIP. It's worth every penny and minute. read more

If you're in the Wright-Patt area and in need of a haircut, look no further than A&D! I had a great shave/haircut experience with Alex and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent upgrade from your average GoodCuts Alex, you just won a customer for life! read more

I went in A&D just expecting a haircut. I didn't really focus on any reviews I just needed it done. I went in and the haircut blew my mind and then the female doing the cut bussed out a hot towel and gave me a massage. That blew my f****ing mind dude. What haircut place gives you a massage? Well this one does so 10/10 would definitely recommend read more

I won't even go to sports clips or any of the other names out there in haircutting after experiencing this shop. They know what they are doing & they are very good at it. Prices are way better than sports clips. Always a clean and welcoming atmosphere as well as walk in friendly. The last barber you'll ever need!!! read more

This place is ridiculous when it comes to miscommunication trying to over charge reliable dependable regulars. I would not recommend this place they are desperate for money. read more

Does not accept credit card as they claim. They accept cash only but have an atm in the lobby. The barber who cut my sons hair left my son with a mullet and bangs. This is the worst men's cut I have ever seen. My son will have to shave his head in order to fix this huge mistake. Steer clear unless your going for a Joe Dirt look. read more

Russ completely BUTCHERED my hair. So choppy and uneven. Gave me a mullet with bangs when all I wanted to do was slick back my hair. Plus they upped their price and now it's cash only. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

When you walk in at first they don't greet you and ask you what time you coming in for right away like they should :).

45 min walk in wait, with several other walks in known to staff seated before all others, don't waste your time.

Amazing place...great conversations and friendly barbers. They even do neck shaves in between haircuts...they couldn't get me in this Tuesday but shaved my neck and kept me in AF regs for a TDY on Wednesday. Definitely recommend!!! read more
