I'm writing this review so no one can call this company, bad experience ever. My furnace wasn't blowing no air at all making noises , they send this guy did not know what he was doing telling me I need a new furnace. He was just doing the talking instead of doing the work. called a different company telling me I need a new blower. Changed it and my furnace is working perfect. I have Consumer Energy program, but I ended up paying extra because somebody didn't know what they were doing. not professional at all. keep telling the guy my furnace is not blowing this is not normal. A & C heating has been amazing for my family. Called them because my furnace wasn't working they came out promptly. Realized the motor had blown and replaced it. However it didn't solve the issue and after coming back out a third time realized that unfortunately the new motor they had installed was faulty. Replaced it again at no extra charge. Chris and his team are quick and efficient as well reasonably affordable! I highly recommend anyone looking for any hvac team to call them! read more

I usually don't do this but I wanted to share the awful experience I had during the beginning stages of the process of having my A/c fixed. June 21st was the first time James came out. The problem was my a/c was not cooling down the house. He only took a look at the outside unit and said it was dirty. I've lived here 4 months so far and my home is under 3 years old, so fairly new build. He said he was going to mark it as negligent care for the A/c but was going to do me a favor and not due that so my home warranty would pay for the service. The A/c still did not cool down the house & next problem was the a/c leaking so my downstairs bathroom suffered damage to the ceiling. I was able to get them to come out again 7/7. The service technician was very nice compared to the first technician. They said the drip pan had a problem and had drained it. As the technician was leaving, I asked if this will for sure fix the not cooling problem and the leak that was causing the bathroom ceiling damage. He said it will fix the leak, but the cooling should have been fixed from the first visit. He went back to check a couple more things, and discovered a hole in the coil. Reminder, this home and unit are only a few years old. To add to this, I'm now 38 weeks pregnant, so after many conversations with my home warranty company, they set this as an emergency repair, and rushed the part. They kept me even on hold during conversations with a&c and gave me the full cost of repairs before a&c even answered my many calls. I called every week day from 7/8 until yesterday 7/17 with either no responses or promises of return calls that never happened. On 7/17, after two phone calls, they said the repair men would be coming out 7/28 due to lack of workers to complete my repair, which is after my child's induction date. After a very irritate expectant mother, they said they do have portable A/c's they can lend to me.. which was never offered before. The owner called me later the same evening and said they can potentially get technicians out today 7/18 to do the coil repair. Today, the technicians were great and prompt. Prior to their arrival, I received a text message saying I'd owe over $1,300 and that's due before they would even start the services. Like I said, I've been in contact with my warranty services company from day 1 and they gave me the total of over $300 that would be owed today. A &c had to reverify but I did in-fact only owe $365 not $1,365. Very large difference and I'm glad that I was on top of it because A & C left me extremely stressed and disappointed during this already stressful time of life. I just want you to be weary, even though you may not have a choice with your home warranty company, that the scheduling and customer service was nothing short of disappointing. read more

A & C was used by Consumer's Energy for our Home Appliance plant. They were able to come out the same day for an issue with the furnace, ordered the part, and were able to replace it the next day. Both technicians were very professional, nice, and quick. I would recommend A & C in a heartbeat. read more

Technician James from A & C Heating & Cooling came to do maintenance on my 23 yr old air conditioner and all the numbers were in a good range. He was so knowledgeable showing me as well as giving me tips to keep my system in good running condition. James also gave me a recommendation for a different warranty company because the current one I have delays payment to A & C Heating & Cooling which is uncalled for! Ironically, two weeks later my a/c stopped pushing cool air out. I spoke to Chris, the owner and surprisingly he was able to put me on the schedule within two days (bless his heart!)! McKinley was scheduled for my appointment and again he was so knowledgeable, professional and I received more great tips to maintain my a/c unit! Luckily he had the part the unit needed and I cannot thank A & C Heating & Cooling enough for cooling down my home in this treacherous heat! James and McKinley did such an amazing job with their different approaches in maintaining and fixing my a/c unit! As Murphy's Law would have it, our furnace decided to die the day of the coldest night of winter. We called and messaged many places and were given outrageous service fees alone just to confirm what/if there was a problem. As the house grew colder we finally got through to A & C Heating. He listened intently to the description of our issue, suggested two possible problems and the solution and cost of each. And scheduled someone to come out the next day to see if they could get it up and moving. Enter Chris. He came in, performed magic (replaced some parts) and voila, like the sun he brought heat back into our lives. All at a very reasonable price and an extremely quick manner. No more house fridge here! A & C Heating and Cooling is awesome and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to everyone I know! They really helped me out when I was in a tight spot and other companies couldn't. My furnace went out in the middle of the winter when it was below freezing. They were very quick and prompt in arriving, diagnosing the same day I called them, unlike other companies. They always returned calls/texts quickly, and answered any and all questions we had. Their technicians were very knowledgeable, polite, and respectful. They worked more quickly and efficiently than any contractor I have worked with before. They had the furnace hooked up and working in less than a day, and finished the job the following day. They even gave me some free advice and pointers regarding my other systems, and I will definitely be using them again in the future for my HVAC needs! read more

There should a be a 6th star! The owner Chris was very responsive to my questions. His communication, level of detail is very genuine. His company, A & C offered a competitive quote...they were not the lowest price, but as it stands, that is only part of my decision when deciding to secure service. I considered the reviews on Yelp, Google, Facebook, etc. and I sought advice from my community. My conversation with Chris sold me, and my gut said, A & C was the right decision. I received a text message letting me know when his crew was dispatched to us and gave us the progress on the repair. His crew, Chris and Mckinley were courteous, explained what they would be doing, were quick to install my 4 inch chimney liner and cleaned up afterward. When they were finished, they showed me the completed work and answered any questions I had. Good men all! Today, I received a follow-up this morning to see how the install went for me...a great touch. A & C has secured our future business! read more

Running out of AC in the dead heat of summer is undoubtedly a first world problem, but definitely one that makes you appreciate all the amenities we are blessed with! After my hubby tried to do a DIY fix but unable to locate parts, I sent quote requests out via Yelp. Chris was the first to respond back and I'm so glad he did! He worked us in for next day stop by service and was able to repair the problem within a half hour. His price was reasonable and he was great to work with; highly recommend! This is a company that you will feel good to give your money and support to.......... Being a 1st time home buyer and not having any previous contacts for heating & cooling problems, you just don't know what company you should trust. I took a chance because of the reviews and company history provided, as well as I prefer the smaller guy to the larger over priced guys. Let me just say that this was the BEST chance ever taken. These guys are so professional and fast with their service. It's so hard to find good, quality service and I FOUND IT! The prices were so affordable, they worked around my work schedule to perform the repair, and the repair man (James) was right on time. He even took his shoes off to enter my home, now what company does that? After having to come back the next day because of getting the part I needed, James did so as a true professional. He even had a quote for another service that I will need in the future, which was again a good price. If I could give a ranking of "DANGER! DANGER!" WITH ZERO STARS, I Would! This company presented the worst - possible behavior of their company when they came to inspect my faulty furnace today. The owner, Chris was arrogant, rude and behaved with downright RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT when inspecting my furnace that has 3 cracks in the blowing units! I had 6 other companies come and inspect the furnace and all said the same thing: its broken, don't turn it on! Its leaking Carbon Monoxide Gas! Its dangerous! However, Chris, the owner, after taking his jolly time disassembling the unit and spraying with soapy water to find the same results that everyone else saw, decided to TURN ON AND (DEMANDED) TO RUN THE FURNACE FOR about 5 minutes to "confirm the burners were working" after he put it back together! WHAAAA?!?!? This was AFTER he CONFIRMED it was dangerous, leaking Carbon Monoxide Gas and was dangerous! THIS COMPANY IS DANGEROUS AND RUN BY INCOMPETENTS! Scary!
