The fish is really the best ever, the taste is great, and batter light and non-greasy. Located in the heart of Banbury town centre in a pedestrainised area, but also by a road running straight out of Banbury, 'Banbury Fish Bar' is easy to get to and from. The shop also runs a take-away service, though I admit we have never tried this. However I expect the warm service and quality seafood is replicated here also. (they told him that the food would be wasted otherwise so he had no choice!) They then got his change wrong but the boy quickly corrected them and they did put that right. It was a very disappointing sight to see the child scared to take the wrong food back home for fear of being in trouble but didn't feel that he was old enough to argue with the adults behind the counter. The father took the food back but the owner told him it was bought and paid for and they weren't interested!!! What customer service!
