The basics in your grocery needs can be counted on for them to have unless some unusual situation is going on. The variety on selection is okay. I mean it kind of is the situation you deal with when shopping in a rural community. The produce is pretty fresh as well as the meat department. The liquor store is decent as well. Plenty of variety on hard alcohol or ingredients for mixed drinks. They have a craft beer selection and while one would expect it to be small they do have some Wyoming based breweries which is nice to get a hold of for a four pack or six pack. As one would expect don't expect a huge variety on ethnic foods like Asian condiments or things like that. Again the basics are covered but nothing to specific. Despite what may sound like a review with criticism it's more a preparation of what to expect or not expect. This grocery store is truly vital to the Platte Valley without getting yourself into a lengthy drive to go to another town outside the valley. This is the area where I grew up and while changes have happened to this building and ownership changed over the decades it's still kind of a magnet to run into old acquaintances.

We walked in, and four employees greeted us within 30 seconds. We had a small problem with one of the gas pumps, and another employee came right over to check on us. I passed on the dogs because the bottoms of the buns were hard as a rock. When I tried to check in on Yelp it couldn't even find the place because it didn't have a proper mailing address when it was first built. I am working within Yelp to get that fixed and updated. When I asked the clerk some information about it today (3/28/11 at 5:51PM Trans # 21685) she asked "why?" When I told her it was for internet review she stated "the owner doesn't care if we are on the internet, he owns a few other gas stations, if they can't find this one they will just go to one of his others.." I hope he can change her mind.
