My clients always comment on how easy it was working with Cara and how she came up with ideas they didn't even think of and put their vision into a reality (life-size cut-outs, backgrounds, candy carts, room decor, lighting, etc.). As a photographer, I am always amazed at the amount of detail and personal touch Cara adds to every event: no event is ever the same, be it a wedding or a Bar/ Bat Mitzvah, and I have seen quite a few though the years. Cara's team is always on their A-game; they run a great party. Cara's assistant, Christine, who goes to all the jobs with Cara is a pleasure to work with, as well. I recommend Cara of Save the Date to all of my clients. Jason Weil of Jason Weil Photography

I found this place and they had a very reasonable price for a peacock chair, it was perfect. So I was able to get a friend with a SUV to come with me to this party rental place (they do not deliver items to your destination you are responsible for everything). At first no one was answering the phone at the rental but I kept calling because it was the day of the baby shower and I had no other choice. We get there and was talking to the owner Jeremy and the manager. Jeremy offered us Dunkin' Donuts while he was assisting another customer. We asked to see the chair because I was mainly afraid it wouldn't fit inside the SUV. So the manager told us it wouldn't fit and if it did he would give us a dollar each because he has done this before. So we knew we had to try since this was my last chance. He grabbed the chair and Jeremy, my friend and I watched as the chair fit like a glove right in the car. It was perfect! We were obviously happy! We also got our dollar each, lol which was actually funny! Jeremey processed our payment and of course yelp came through and offered 5% off for our first rental! It was great & worked out perfectly!! The chair was great and the mother-to-be loved it. The chair did not come with the cushion so we had to improvise and had our own, but it was perfect and made the room look even better!! Thank you again We're Having A Party!! I would definitely recommend!

Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and the entire experience was professional and seamless. I have never been much of a fish eater--I love shellfish, but what I jokingly call "swimmy fish" has never been my thing. Well, the cod they served completely changed my mind! It was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite things on the menu. Our officers and guests raved about the food throughout the evening. In fact, the officers enjoyed it so much that they were already asking if we could order our Thanksgiving meal from the same caterer! When you're organizing a large event, having a caterer you can rely on makes an enormous difference. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and they helped make our awards dinner a special evening. Highly recommend!

I asked her continuously for updates on my bouquet and she either ignored me or gave me a bunch of excuses. After asking for a refund several times she finally gave me a bouquet. When I received it, it was the wring color and it was poorly made. The handle which was made out of syrofoam broke as soon as I picked it up. I immediately contacted her and told her that the bouquet was broken and it was the wrong color she promised me she will have make me a new bouquet by friday. I dropped off the broken bouquet to her daughters house as she requested. So Friday come and no word from her. I messaged and called her several times. Finally around 9pm I received a message stating that she will not be making my bouquet and my refund is being processed. I have contacted her several times regarding my refund and still haven't received anything. I messaged her one last time to tell her that I will be taking her to court for my refund. She replied "Do whatever you gotta do, see you in court." So I will definitely be taking her to court. Whatever you do NEVER order or do any business with Juanita Shelton Bailey or this company!!!

I'm sure any group can come in a play dance music, but Howie and NYX were able to give us piece of mind that they had the evening under control so that we could enjoy it. As I got closer, I realized it was a lovely floral display of a rose tree and 2 white cherry blossom trees. I fell in love instantly! I spoke to the representative from Dalissa and found out they rent and deliver all types of items for weddings, parties, or any type of function. I checked out their website and saw they had everything from fancy chairs and tables to floral arches and special event items. I made contact and decided to rent the rose bush and cherry blossom trees. The delivery went seamlessly and so did the pick-up. My guests were blown away at the look and feel it gave the room. I'm extremely happy that I decided to rent these items, they went with my theme and they looked so real and elegant. I initially thought about making my own arch, but this was so cost effective and it was taken back afterwards, so I didn't need to figure out what I was going to do with it after. Corcoran handled both our catering and all of our rentals--and absolutely nailed it. The food was exceptional. We're still getting texts from guests saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had--some even said it was the best event food, period! We got compliments on everything from the starter salad to the passed hors d'oeuvres. I wasn't initially excited about the beer corn fritter, but it ended up being my favorite bite of the night. But what truly set our experience apart was working with Jordan. I honestly can't say enough positive things about her. She became like a second planner for us--offering expert guidance, always responding quickly and thoroughly, and saying yes to every single request with grace and positivity. I had so much trust in her judgment, and she never steered us wrong. One week before the wedding, in a moment of pre-wedding panic, I decided I wanted to change our napkin fold. Jordan didn't just talk me through options--she went to the showroom, set up our exact table settings, tested multiple options, photoshopped in our decor, and sent over a mini lookbook... only for me to choose the original one. That's the level of above-and-beyond care she provided. On the day of the wedding, I shared a special moment with Jordan about my grandmother, who had passed before the wedding. She held my hand, we shed a tear together, and I felt so supported and comforted by her presence. It meant the world to me. We will absolutely be recommending Corcoran--and specifically Jordan--to all of our friends getting married, as well as to colleagues planning corporate events at 101 Constitution, where we got married. If you're looking for a caterer and rental partner who will care deeply about your event and help bring your vision to life, choose Corcoran. And request Jordan!
