Each time I could not have been more pleased with the planning process and the results. They started by coming to my home or the event venue and listened to all the thoughts and ideas we envisioned. They then emailed us a detailed and organized party plan that pulled our ideas together and included vendor suggestions, links to items to purchase and suggestions for decor. They also provided invaluable set up and styling of all the party items on the day of the event. They really elevated each party to something that we could have never done on our own. And the best part was Mara and Rebecca were both genuinely a pleasure to work with. Don't hesitate to call Let's Party if you have an event to plan and want to make is something special!

While our family, friends, and…read moreseparate vendors helped make the day special, many key elements that were promised and contractually agreed upon were either incomplete, missing, or poorly executed. Examples include: Golf Cart Shuttle Service: Not provided at all on the day of the event. Barn Cocktail Hour Décor: Only three barrels were present with no décor, despite the agreed design. Firepit and Seating: Not set up or made available for use. Complimentary Champagne Toast: Not provided for the bridal party; instead, we received red wine well after arrival with no accompanying food. Bridal Gift Bags / Keepsakes: Only the groom's party received keepsakes. Starry Night Lighting: Absent entirely. Guests expressed safety concerns about the lack of lighting while walking in the dark. Ceremony Lighting and Décor: No lanterns at the ceremony entrance or chair rows; the ceremony tree lighting and décor were never completed despite assurances. Dessert Table: Our donut tower was missing, and the table lacked a tablecloth. Lawn Games: Giant Jenga, Connect Four, corn hole, and ring toss were not set up; this resulted in our guests leaving early due to the lack of activities. Catering and Beverage Issues: Several items from our signed and paid catering proposal were missing, and confirmed by multiple guests Planning and Communication Failures: We never received our meeting notes, which we were told would be sent by email. QR Codes for our wedding registry were not displayed. The guest seating plan we submitted - including full names and table assignments - was disorganized and implemented poorly. The first dance song was incorrect, despite multiple confirmations (two emails with Spotify links, one text, and one follow-up email outlining all music). The charcuterie board we were told would be provided was not provided to the bridal party. Random carpets were placed on the floor, creating a tripping hazard (my mother nearly fell). Additional notes: We were repeatedly told we had caused logistical issues - such as "messing up the table plan" - when the venue's own lack of follow-up (including missing meeting notes) caused the confusion. We were proactive and cooperative throughout the planning process, providing detailed music links, layouts, and confirmations. Despite that, we ended up managing aspects of the event ourselves, such as calling a table for dinner, opening dessert boxes, and notifying guests when dessert was available. We received consistent feedback from guests that the catering staff appeared irritated and dismissive when asked basic questions about food and service. This created discomfort among our family and friends, which is unacceptable for a paid, private event of this importance. This is not the experience we were promised, nor the level of professionalism we expected. Outcome: We requested a partial refund for the items that were not contractually fulfilled. Instead, we received an email detailing issues that we supposedly caused, no apology, and excuses for why our needs couldn't be met. On top of that, we were lowballed a refund amount that did NOT match the contract pricing. Our overall impression of Ol Fashion Flare is that the owner is that she lacks accountability, shifting blame and responsibility onto us (adding issues that weren't originally discussed), outright dishonesty, and lacks communication

I asked her for the contact information and she sent me the website for Sweet Gifts which I saved onto my "Favorites" links on my phone. Fast forward one year later... I'm planning my own socially distanced "drive by" and "drop in" baby shower with close friends and family. One of the first businesses that I inquired was Sweet Gifts because I've always wanted a balloon garland. However, Sweet Gifts is more than just balloons, balloon walls, and garlands -- they also do custom laser cuts and engraving and grass backdrop rentals as well! Their balloon work is so aesthetically pleasing and they really take their time to curate an impressive look for your event (if you don't believe me, check out their Instagram for some of their beautiful work!). I went with the grass backdrop rental, laser cut, and a ready-to-hang garland to display. The team came on time and was able to set everything up within 2.5 hours! They also wore masks throughout the whole setup and always knocked on the door to make sure to get my opinion on the display. I received several compliments from our guests and have told them all about Sweet Gifts! Additionally, they came back later that evening to take down the grass backdrop and left us with the ready-to-hang garland and laser cut for us to keep. When it comes to payment, you will pay 50% for your reservation and then 50% the day before. They also accepted payment through various methods. I definitely plan to use Sweet Gifts for future events!

My…read moreguests were amazed at how beautiful the balloons and cutouts carried the "Woodlands animals" theme. We were able to keep all the signs to use in the baby's room. When the crew arrived they were very professional and done so quickly I couldn't believe it. I have found kits that you can buy to make displays but I cant imagine ever being able to make something so beautiful. Jen was amazing, she felt like some of the design elements would crowd the space and made some suggestions that were even better than the original ideas. I highly recommend this company for that special design for any event.

This competition was a scavenger hunt where ten couples competed to win a $50,000 wedding. Taylor & Hov worked together to have their favorite vendors contribute their services. To our shock and surprise, WE WON! Following our win, Taylor & Hov designed and executed the perfect wedding for us. Not only did it provide us the opportunity to work with some of the best vendors in DC, but Taylor & Hov's creative talents far exceeded our expectations. When we first started our wedding planning, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted. Despite this, Sugar was able to create an event which really spoke to our personalities. We spoke to her about our mutual love of music, and she found a way to incorporate this into every aspect of the day, with programs made of records and place settings created out of cassette tapes. Moreover, during our highest stress moments, Sugar and Nar saved the day with their eagerness to help with both large and small details, from changing the venue at the last minute to putting together a signature cocktail that our guests still won't stop talking about. The whole planning process was so easy and Anthony and Natallia go above and beyond to curate and elevate your event while making it your own. I had my full trust in their design expertise and gave them so much control and I'm so happy I did because it was absolutely beautiful (trust the experts!). My florals were more beautiful than I could've even imagined. The whole experience is a family affair. There's no stuffiness or cookie cutter event experience you are interacting with some of the most genuine and kind people that keep that wariness while also being the utmost professionals. Even while we were getting ready we felt we were absolutely taken care of by the staff (Ava in particular was extremely attentive and kind) And the food is just incredible! From our tasting, to our breakfast, no one goes hungry here. They are extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions and allergies and every single thing I tried was *chef's kiss.* The BnB rooms are clean and cozy and well-decorated. They come stocked with snacks and most essentials you may need and one of my bridesmaids now wants to know the mattress brand because her bed was so comfortable. Being of a different culture than my fiancé, I struggled to find a decorator that could envision the style I wanted for my wedding and work well with me and my crazy schedule. In walked Masuda and Nadia from Enchanted Events. I could immediately tell that the experience with them was going to be different than the other decorators I had dealt with. Masuda and Nadia came prepared with ideas based on the details I had given them when I requested a quote. They had done their research prior to meeting with me and went out of their way to make it a productive meeting. I knew immediately that I was in good hands. Their professionalism was impeccable: I could always count on them to follow up and follow through. Their flexibility was greatly helpful: they were able to recommend lower budget options and still maintain the style I wanted. Earlier this month, on the day of the wedding, they executed our plans perfectly and were able to improvise beautifully on some unforeseen details. I received many compliments on how elegant and intimate of an atmosphere we had at our wedding reception, which was exactly the atmosphere I wanted to create. Finding Enchanted Events was the greatest stress-reliever during wedding planning. Their professionalism reassured me that the decor was in good hands and allowed me to focus on the more important things.

I was very lucky to have found this place (after several unsuccessful searches to find a small indoor venue for our hour long ceremony). Weddings on Wirt will hold up to 30 people. Although the space is the small, the little touches like the gold chairs (which are part of your hourly rental) and historical looking furnishings are a nice alternative to getting married at the courthouse (also looks better in pictures than a courthouse). Suzanne (the owner of Legacy Weddings and proprietary of Weddings on Wirt) is very accommodating. If you have a small event planned the space and add-ons available are perfect. (Although, the space is typically used for weddings. Suzanne is flexible (and told me) she has hosted other events at space, like baby showers). I loved the fact that Weddings on Wirt has wedding packages and gives their prices up front. We decided for example to add a small cake and sparkling cider toast to our hourly package after our ceremony was finished (we made this decision, a week before the ceremony, and Suzanne didn't mind the last minute decisions). In a nutshell, I recommend this space for a small gathering due to its flexible terms and affordability.

We planned this only a month in advance of our wedding but even with extreme last minute notice, every detail was remembered and attended to. Further complicating things, we were out of the country until the week before our wedding but Suzanne managed to stay in contact with us and answer all of our questions, assisting us in understanding the choices available and carefully understanding our specific vision, so our day could be exactly what we wanted. Our wedding was perfection! Exactly what we had in mind and very comfortable in all ways. Our guests were charmed and impressed with the location and with how wonderful Suzanne and her team were throughout. Our guests (13 people) are all vey intimate friends of ours, who know us well, every one of them loved that our wedding was truly a reflection of us. I can not say thank you enough to Suzanne and her team for making this the most beautiful day we could have dreamed of.
