After having a good experience, I tried to use their service again and it was quite the opposite. Although Alvaro replied quickly, he said he was coming in 20 min but he didn't. So I messaged and he said some other person was running late and would go at 3:15 but I couldn't wait that long and had to leave so he said tomorrow 12-1 and I said yes. Well, no one showed up so I messaged and he never replied back. I guess he was no longer interested in the job. read more

I initially requested a bid to demo a partially fallen cylinder block wall and Alvero was the most bid. I ended up listening to the negative reviews and not hiring him for that job and boy do I regret it. The other company charged me 4x as much and left the concrete footing. I eventually needed to demo about 120 feet of the remaining cylinder block wall and the initial footing and decided to try A&A. Alvero and Herson are absolute gems. Such good people, hard workers, funny and kind to work with. They went above and beyond to take down the wall, dig out the footing and clean up. After taking the cylinder block wall down I realized I needed a short retaining wall built to support a tall wooden fence that was going in a few days later. I was scrambling and A&A stepped in and built it in one day. Just in time for the fence to be completed. I appreciate them so much for stepping up and doing that last minute job for me. I enjoyed working with them so much, I hired them to transport and place 6 several tonned boulders on my property. They excavated them from the original location, loaded and hauled them to me, unloaded and placed them *EXACTLY* how I wanted on several points on my property. Again, super responsive, communicative and flexible. The original owners of the boulders even messaged me to say how much they enjoyed working with Alvero and would like to hire them to do work in the future. After a month, I am doing demo at my back house and I'm overwhelmed by the trash. I decide to hire Alvero to haul away my demo materials. He sees how much I have to do and just starts helping me in every way he can. Hauls an immense amount of junk: old furniture, stove, fridge, vanity, demoed walls, lumber, closet mirror doors, so many bags of trash. I was shocked to fill up the truck. They also demoed concrete that was buried under dirt in my front yard. I wanted to plant along the fence but it was all buried concrete. They made it look easy to remove!Alvero and Herson are just great guys who work so hard. I will use them in a couple weeks to deliver some redwood mulch to finish my landscaping and really look forward to working with them again. If they are unresponsive, a kind follow up text in Spanish will usually get their attention. I am so very happy to have found them. read more

Unfortunately a few weeks after getting out pavers done, we realized they were not sealed correctly. I've let them know. Alvaro promised to come by and fix them and never showed. Very poor customer service. The sand came out and now it looks bad. Would not use them again read more

Initially I was hesitant to believe the reviews on this page since there was such a prompt quote and response time. I therefore scheduled an appointment for the work to be done and confirmed the appointment the night before. He was still a no show. We tried calling three times and texting but to no avail. In order to prep for this appointment I paid a fee to expedite another service needlessly and the project has now been delayed. I wish at the least he would've called to let me know he wasn't coming so that I could have attempted to get someone else out here the same day to complete the work even if it was at an additional cost to me. Its unfortunate since this was to benefit my disabled kiddo. Needless to say trust the other reviews and if your project is time sensitive like mine, Id look for another company. read more

They were on time, there estimates were reasonable and fairy. They provided estimates and very quickly and were available to work with 2 days!!!! They were very careful with their equipment in my yard. No damage was done. They were extremely careful with their heavy equipment in my backyard. They cleanup their area ...I would HIGHLY recommend them for work!!! 5 Stars All the way. read more

A&A showed up on time and the team conducted themselves very professionally. Extremely friendly team members and took care in protecting the environment around the work area and in removing all debris. They demo'd an entire kitchen of cabinets, tile floor, countertops and also removed all appliances (removed everything down 3 flights of stairs). Great communication throughout transaction. Extremely satisfied with the service they provided. Thank you A&A! read more

I uploaded before and after of my backyard photos in Cypress. Former owner made totally shitty concrete ugly pond in the backyard. so, I hired Alvaro A&A demo. I found this company in Yelp. He did demolition and installing Artificial turf and cleaning . was impressive . He cut, removed all of shitty concrete and cleaned. Very good job with competitive price. it was the lowest quote but was the great result. Sometimes he was late. That is the only Cons. but overall he did good Job. I was a construction worker before. so I recognized he is a hard worker and the guy has good sense of work. Specially, He cleaned the site very well after work. I know that is very important but the hard thing to do in the construction job . Well done Alvaro and his team ! Highly recommend Alvaro & Emiliano And I'd like to say thank you for good job again. I found them on Yelp. One message at 8:30am on Monday morning and they were at my office/warehouse by 9:30am. 3 hours of hard work and my warehouse trash as well as junk in the parking lot area were packed and gone. They can pack an amazing amount of stuff in their trailer. Honest guys, polite, courteous and great service. They cleaned up and swept up and left the place clean. Alvaro was excellent and quick in communicating via email and text. These guys are a hidden gem and will become popular very quickly. Don't think twice, these guys are good. read more

I had a 2 piece sliding glass door that I had replaced. I needed to dump the old one but with the COVID 19 Virus going around I was not too keen in going to the local dump. I dreaded the thought of possibly waiting for GAWD only knows how long along with this 100+ temp! So I shopped around and found Alvaro at A & A Demo. He was centrally located in the City of Orange and he gave me a very competitive offer I could not refuse! He accepts calls 24 hours a day and provides time windows of available schedules. I had an appointment at 10:00 am the following morning. Alvaro arrived within the window of time at 10:45. He was in and out within 5 minutes! A & A Demo does not accept credit cards so I paid him cash. (they also accept checks) Alfonso stated he would email me an invoice later in the day. I was very pleased with his communication on the internet and his clean fast work. Once Alfonso arrived I found him to be of few words but a very honest, hard working man and that's what I paid him for. Thank you Alfonso. I appreciate your work and as for My Fellow Yelpers I gave A & A Demo 5 Stars! I Hi-Li Rx them. Their quotes are extremely competitive! read more

I would have given them 5 stars and a GREAT review since they were fast to respond, competitive (as far as the cost), and they were available to do a demolition and clean up right away, even though he was a day late since he claimed his truck had been stolen. Impressed with their services and hard work , I even referred them to a developer and a busy contractor that we do business with, and offered him more work (which he claimed he was able to do). He showed up to gave me an estimate on a Friday and said he was going to be here on Monday. He never showed up, he never called and he never answered my calls. After reviewing his yelp page, I realize it is a pattern of his. read more

Alvaro is honest and extremely hard working. His quotes are competitive and reasonable. He and his crew clean up every night and leaves a good impression that they appreciate your business and take pride in their work. I had my pool demo'd and made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. He, his crew and equipment arrived just like he promised and everything was done within a week, permits and all. Realize that he also had other clients and at times he was away overseeing other job sites. That's probably one reason his quotes are reasonable... he's doing multiple jobs. If you are not in an extreme hurry and able to be a bit flexible with time frames, give Alvaro a call, at least for a quote. I'm posting pictures of the demo. I'll definitely use him for concrete/landscaping work in a few mon read more

I ignored the bad reviews and feel silly. I messaged with Alvaro about the job several times and had an appointment for 10am today. We messaged last night! I spent the morning moving heavy things to make his job easier and he never showed up. No message. No phone call. read more

I had an amazing experience with Alvaro. I called this morning and he was available right away. My storage place closes at 12 noon. He came at 10. He moved my stuff out right away. His rate was very reasonable. I'm very happy. read more

I reached back out to A & A for a bid on a much smaller job than my first request, which I think I overpaid for. but was willing to do since it was a short notice request on a Friday night. Despite being a repeat customer, and having a very small load, I was quoted a price higher than the original bid for the larger load. They were not interested in negotiating a reasonable fee. Because the pricing in inconsistent, and unreasonable, I will not be requesting a quote from them again. It seems that my initial generosity, and review, were not appreciated, but rather led them to think that I'm a fool, who is willing to pay more than a job is worth. read more

I wouldn't even give them a star. Hired these guys to lay down soil and set some large boulders. I made sure they could do it before I ordered the materials because the boulders were not returnable. THEY TOTALLY STOOD ME UP AND DID NOT EVEN DO ME THE COURTESY OF ANSWERING THE PHONE OR RESPONDING TO MY TEXTS. All this, after I had told them I was doing the work for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. What kind of people leave you hanging like that? If you couldn't DO the work, then don't accept the job! Had I gone with an alternative bid the work would have been done by the party. I ended up having to take time off work to spread the soil and mulch myself (3cu yards worth). And I had to use indoor-outdoor carpet to cover the spots I had prepared for the boulders--how tacky, exhausting, and embarrassing. Don't trust these people. read more

No show twice for quote Didn't bother trying to get a response after the 2nd time. Communication was fine, but I live quite a bit away from my house at the moment. Having to drive all the way out there not once, but twice.. just to be ghosted isn't very fun. Would have been nice for them to at least tell me that they can't make it. Very unprofessional. No follow-up at all even after trying to get ahold of them a number of times. Stay away read more

Initially there was response through Yelp. Trying to get a response was little to none after the estimate. I mean if you don't want to do the job, just say so. Poor communication, I reached out 5-6 times, no response. I mean if you drive all the way out for an estimate and agree to do the work-with no follow through escapes me. In todays times small businesses can pick and choose as a result of booming business. Oppositely, the poor communication left a complete dissatisfaction. This is probably a good sign and a detour for a worse situation if they were to complete the job. Don't do it!!! read more

Today the haul away service was provided, and the response and follow thru was timely, a good value and quite professional. Will not hesitate to utilize again! read more

Agreed to be at jobsite at 8 AM, when he did not show up at 8:30 I texted and he said I am coming, when he did not show up another 45 minutes I called, no answer, he texted and said he would be there by 10, by 10:20 I called multiple times with no answer, he texted and said I'm driving will call you in 10 minutes, another 30 minutes went by and he texted me "sorry got held up at another job, how about tomorrow" Very poor communication, unprofessional, would not recommend read more

I am very annoyed with the owner. From the first day he showed up every other day without answering our texts or phone calls. Or he would sit in his car and let his other guy do all the work. I got a quote from several yelp businesses and they were one of the more competitive prices. At the time their review was 3.5 stars with a mix of reviews where the lower stars were scheduling issues so I decided to give them a shot. They were available the next day and showed up 10 minutes before the scheduled time and finished the patio teardown and removal in 1.5 hours instead of two hours and we didn't have any communication issues. The crew was hard working and diligent and I'd definitely use their service again. read more
