Acid as you enter the facility, the odor makes you want to be a vegetarian, the frozen foods like as if they're covered in frostbite wait a minute if they are , I see no potential hope for Staples street market reason being their customer service the managers owners have no class no PR skills to handle their customers much less their meats, they become very offensive and aggressive with customers we return their products and request a refund due to the meat being expired discoloration with their chicken beef. is the dark blackish, grayish color, but they will still sell it to you knowing it's expired and some of their meat smell like cow maneuver., a little recap for Easter. I was in from California preparing my sous chef with the Easter dinner menu the meet was purchased from Staples Street market. it was the most disgusting site and smell of their expired product. My assistant and I took it back requested a refund man in the wheelchair gets defensive and state states not "our meets." I was being kind in the beginning he started getting louder and I just matched his tone proceeded to tell him he ruined Staples Street market ruin ruined, one of-my biggest most important holidays of the year Easter. He got off his wheelchair and literally followed me as I was walking out. He threatened to get physical. My assistant had to intervene. Didn't even apologize once for ruining our Easter dinner. And now they are getting sued. For their Longhorn logo and they deserve everything they get I didn't mention to the guy in the wheelchair that it was going to get worse for him . It will never be the same for Staples Street market all they had to do was give me a refund and apologize for at least just apologize instead they chose to be disrespectful, aggressive, inconsiderate, narcissistic, and chose physical harm to a woman. And the only positive reviews they have their paid , customers and friends and families I'm not saying they go in the store and pay. The plates we both got were brisket and sausage with beans and potato salad. If you've ever bought plates for a church benefit and thought..."well, it's for the church"...you accept the smaller portions as being adequate for the money. That said, the plates aren't expensive, but they're small portions. And I was extemely cautious to keep the plates level and half the beans were in the potato salad on both plates. The meats: sausage has nice snap and just a slight touch of heat. Nothing objectionable. The brisket is a little chewy, not juicy but tasty. The sides were better than the meats...just small portions. We didn't get any sauce on the meat or on the side and no utensils. It did come with a canned drink, though...I guess they figure you're taking it home?? Facebook recommendations got us to try it out. It was decent, not "drive well out of your way" good. Every time we visit, she finds something new she's excited to try. I haven't had the chance to eat in the cafeteria yet, but it always smells amazing. I have grabbed some of the hot food they keep near the checkout, and it's always been fresh and tasty. The selection here is one of the best in town. They have a great variety of Asian ingredients, frozen foods, sauces, noodles, and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff has always been friendly, the store is clean and well maintained, and the prices have always seemed fair. We always enjoy stopping by, and it's become one of our family's favorite places to shop.

We sat down to wait for our food to be heated (they don't cook on Friday so that everything is fresh on Monday) and I checked in on yelp only to realize they closed when we walked in. The staff was really friendly and I love that they deliver. I took a few menus and passed one out to the hotel we are staying in (we are from San Antonio) and to my family that lives here. I am very excited we stopped in. My husband, who doesn't usually eat health conscious foods, liked it too. We will be back the next time we are in town.
