Of course our slider is not standard, so we needed a custom screen to be made. I reached out to A-Affordable Screen and they installed the new screen today. From measurement to install was quick - about a week or so. Larry and Mitch are friendly and easy to work with. Communication was great. Pricing was reasonable for a custom, durable screen with metal wheels. read more

Avoid this company. All of the screens I had replaced now have bugs coming in, decent sized ones, due to them not being cut to proper size. See below the details. Unfortunately I do not recommend this company. I used their services on two different occasions and both times dealt with scenarios where the screens were not made and fitted properly and bugs were able to come in (in all of them). One being a slider. The owner on both occasions committed to a schedule per his timeline to address the issues, but simply never showed up. Did not reach out to notify me, communicate in any manner that he was not able to come, just simply nothing. Then I waited to follow-up and was given an excuse. I was actually guilty tripped over one of this family members being ill, as if it my fault he didn't arrive. Then when I reached out I was told he wouldn't come for another 5 weeks at least (so almost 8 in total). The reason to have the work looked into was all the sudden bugs were able to get into the new screens installed, to the inner perimeter of the window. The owner relatively argued with me stating he was confused how bugs could come in, even with pictures sent his way. The screens had almost a 1/2" gap larger than the originals. The customer service is simply below a standard preferred by the average consumer and the quality of work is very poor unfortunately. The lack of attention to a customers needs when brought to the companies attention was something that provoked me to leave this review. I would suggest avoiding the experiences I have had and choose another company. read more

Larry was very friendly and helpful. He got us the screen we needed within a day and it fits perfectly. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Larry and A Affordable Screen. We had him put sun screens on all our windows two years ago. Larry was personable, professional and got our screens installed quickly. They have been great screens. However, I noticed the frame on one of the screens looked like the coating was peeling off. It was the only screen doing it. I called Larry and the next day he came and got the screen to have it replaced for no cost. He didn't have to stand behind his screen but he definitely did. You don't see service like this much any more. I highly recommend A Affordable screen. read more

We had a difficult time finding a screen to fit the size of our sliding glass door. We finally reached out to A-Affordable Screens. Larry and Mitch were able to meet with us almost immediately due to a cancellation. They took our bent door away and said they might be able to get our new screen door finished by the next day. Well, by 8:15 the next morning we had a very nice new screen door which looks great. We had experience with this company once before when they installed several solar screens for us. Those screens are still looking great. We would highly recommend giving Affordable Screens a call if you need this kind of work done around your home or business. read more

Larry is pretty cool. He gave us a reasonable bid, said he would be back for the work in 2 weeks, showed up in 2 weeks and performed the screen work prefectly. If you want a no hassle, efficient process, Larry is the guy to call. read more

We are very pleased with the quality of work that Affordable screens provided. Larry Ivy was a great communicator and a true professional.

I would not recommend this business. I asked to have pet screen put in. Arranging the delivery of the screens was a hassle as he clearly preferred that I do the delivery and pick up, which I could not due to the size of some of the screens. I discovered after the work was done that he in fact did not put pet screen in but just replaced all the screens with basically what I already had before. So I paid a couple hundred dollars for nothing. Normally I would request a redo or refund, but didn't want to work with him anymore as he seemed aggravated most of the time. Very uncomfortable to work with. read more

I contacted Larry the owner on a Friday afternoon in need of a new sliding patio screen door ASAP. The cheap one that came with the house had broken and the buyers of my home wanted a new one placed before their final walk through on Saturday!!! Of course my homes door is not a standard size you can get from Home Depot or those kind of places it must be special ordered or built. I didn't think it would be possible to have a new one placed in time but Larry understood my dilema came out that evening and measured my patio door and made a high quality sliding screen door that night and placed it the next morning (in time for the final walk through)! Larry is professional, friendly, very well priced( other local mobile companies that make them were going to charge $150.00 more). Bottom line is Larry builds a high quality door that I wish I could take to my new home. Thank you!! read more

Attorney located in California who owns 14 rental properties throughout NV. When we decided to place screens on all doors and windows on one of my properties in Reno, we were a bit concerned with finding the right company to do the work. We must have called about 5 different companies, most of which we BIG companies and tried to nickel and dime me on EVERYTHING! We came across A-Affordable Screen using the Yellow Pages. They were VERY helpful, honest, and reasonable, but what we liked best is that they are an individually owned and operated. We defiantly recommend anyone looking for quality service! read more

The screen was built at my location and is well made; it's everything I asked for. Excellent workmanship, and helpful, honest communication. May need to wait a little time to fit into the company's schedule, but it is worth the wait. read more
