Buyer Beware: Incredibly Frustrating Experience…read more Do not go here! My entire saga with Family Hearing Center was a nightmare from the start. It began when they sent me what turned out to be inaccurate information about my insurance benefits. The staff told me what my deductible was and how much I had spent toward it, except they got it wrong. They told me I'd owe thousands of dollars out of pocket when, in reality, I'd already hit my out-of-pocket maximum and shouldn't have owed anything if I'd purchased from them. It's unbelievable that a place specializing in hearing services could be so careless with basic insurance details. I chose them specifically because they were in-network with my insurance -- big mistake. On the day of my appointment, things somehow got worse. The specialist brought me into the hearing aid fitting room and was shockingly unprepared. She immediately said she needed to call my insurance to "log in," and once she had a representative on the phone, it became painfully clear she didn't know how to use my insurance's online portal -- the very system needed to order my hearing aid. Instead of handling this privately, she argued with the insurance rep right in front of me on speaker, saying things like "Could you make this harder?" It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and honestly, it seemed like she had never used the portal before. In the end, I spent nearly an hour sitting there while the specialist fumbled with the insurance. Between the inaccurate benefit quote and the total lack of professionalism, I finally had enough -- I walked out. Save yourself the headache -- go literally anywhere else.

I can't say enough good things about The Family Hearing Center. I've seen several audiologists over…read morethe years, but this is the first time I've felt truly heard--not just about my hearing loss, but also about my tinnitus. Dr. Kadri-Rodriguez went above and beyond to help me understand and manage my tinnitus alongside my hearing loss. It's honestly been life-changing. Most places I've been to seem focused on just making a sale and getting you out the door. Here, the team actually spends time with you. They're knowledgeable, current on best practices, and genuinely care. I love my new hearing aids, but what really stands out is the level of care and expertise. The office is easy to get to, very accessible, and everyone is kind and professional. Sonya at the front desk is AMAZING--so helpful and welcoming every time I come in. If you're looking for more than just a transaction and want real support with your hearing health, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Sherri is the audiologist who is incredibly talented. She discovered a growth in my dad's ear that impacted my dad's hearing. Dr. Golden safely removed it. Sherri has provided my dad's hearing aides for the past 5 years. She is dedicated to her patients. She is kind and patient with her elderly patients. She is awesome at her job and does a detailed and thorough hearing test. She is experienced and has a great wealth of knowledge. She has fun and updated gadgets. My dad just got a gadget that streams his cell phone calls directly to his hearing aides. They have house phones that do the same thing. That is so cool. Dr. Golden is excellent at identifying medical problems and treating them correctly. He won't bombard you with unneeded tests. He accurately assesses the problem and then treats it. This is the "Dream Team" and I recommend them with the highest regard. If you have trouble with your ears, run don't walk to their nearest office.
