Even though they didn't show up as fast as they claimed they would (the driver wasn't as close as he led us on to believe), regardless they did show up and managed to get us to the airport in time. Other than the inaccurate time, the other blemish was that the car wasn't in very good condition ... I know its' a taxi and not a limo service but it was pretty run down and dirty, even more than your average taxi so it wasn't really a pleasant experience. Again, the goal is to just get there so mission accomplished, but as other pointed out, don't expect some glistening service or nicely cared for vehicles ...

Don't get taken by Douglas' seemingly friendly demeanor…read more I saw his ad on Amazon Local for $42 vouchers to Newark Airport. But first, I called to assure that the offer would be valid for trip from my town. I suspected he may be shady when he offered the same price if I paid him directly and not purchase vouchers from Amazon Local. He called earlier today to confirm pick up, and to try to sell me multiple "vouchers" for future car rides. I informed him that at this time I was only interested in pick ups to and from airport. In addition, he confirmed that he would honor the advertised price of $42. Then he texted me about five hours before pick up stating that he did not find my voucher. When I called to remind him about our agreement, he informed me that each ride would be $75. At this point I realized Pearl Car Service in Fort Lee is a scam. He quotes one price, waits till the last minute, then increases his price knowing full well that for most, it's difficult to make last minutes arrangements. Douglas is an opportunist. Bait and switch is a game I'm not willing to play. Funny, but I was planning on tipping him about $30 each way. Lost opportunity, lost income, no credibility. In addition, my referral network will place his company on our "Do not engage" list. Don't do business with this unscrupulous car service.

I googled companies near me and got quotes from different car services in the area. Tenafly Limo quoted me the most reasonable price out of everyone. When they day came to pick me and my family up to go to the airport, the driver arrived early, helped us with our baggage and held the door for us while we got in the car. When we arrived at the airport it was difficult to know where to go because it was on a charter flight. He was so patient and helped us find where we needed to go. The driver upon return was so patient in waiting for us to arrive and helped us with our bags upon pick up and drop off. When I travel again, I will book with them. They charged us $299 to travel 37 min to Newark airport after our other limo company was caught in traffic. When my father (senior age) called he asked to pay before and they said "no just pay the driver" and he clarified it would be comparable to previous rates which were around $140. When we got to the airport the driver demanded $299 and said there was a last minute fee. The kicker in all of this is we asked for a pickup from them to get there earlier but they came 20 minutes later than they promised so it wasn't even faster. The guy who picks up the phone to make the reservations (also the dispatcher I believe) is always very friendly and follows up if he needs more info or if they need to change the pick up time (only happened once and it was a 15-min change). Every driver we have had has been really friendly (even at 4am!) and prompt. Even in the most frustrating 5pm pick-up at LGA, they are friendly and professional. I highly recommend for great customer service and reasonable prices. I like the peace of mind knowing they will pick me up and I don't have to worry about the uncertainty of Uber.
