They know their business inside out, and their customer service is outstanding. When the first set of batteries finally died at the cabin, they had new ones ready for us in no time. I verified that they were with the solar company, etc. a few visits and 2 weeks later, still no improvement and communication between the techs, to myself and/or the customer service staff was not efficient. Customer service gal did communicate with me-mostly by my outreach, however, they communicated. I wish I would have read more reviews about this company and asked more questions regarding their processes if there were ever any issues, etc. Overall, the product has been ok (with the exception of this incident), it's the lack of communication between all parties involved. As well as no financial relief granted to the consumer for not having the panels working and thus having larger electricity costs. EDITED to reply to the owner. Thank you for replying to my review. However, there is a discrepancy in your time frame. We have not had panels for 3 years. The contract was signed September 2023; install was January 2024. That does not equal to having them installed and functioning for three years. Hopefully resolution comes sooner rather than later.

TriSmart had also told us that if we use that credit toward our principal, our monthly payments would remain the same. If we did not use the credit toward our principal, the monthly payment was going to increase almost $100. Long story short, DO NOT WORK WITH TRISMART. They are liars to get sales AND they never answer the phone or call back.

Value was going to be great, the cost was going to be cheap and our tax…read morerefund was going to be THOUSANDS of dollars so we could pay down our principal before the loan reamortizes, which it was, but it is deferred over several years. We signed the contract in June of 2022 and had the system installed by August due to several delays... but it didn't get turned on until FEBRUARY of 2023. We were already quite upset about that and some other issues with delays in work, but fast forward to January of this year, and I found out that I have a roof leak. Nerd Power sent out a technician, and they identified several issues with the installation, INCLUDING A HOLE THAT WAS DRILLED OFF TO THE SIDE OF OUR PANELS THAT WAS NEVER PATCHED, FILLED...NADA. So the tech fixes all that but we identified water damage inside our wall. Nerd Power got a contractor to come out, and he identified they also broke the pipe of the hose bib that they attached the ground wire to from leaning on it, bending it and then truing to bend it back. AND they didn't install the ground wire properly, so it has already begun corroding. I will give Nerd Power credit for fixing everything, but our experience has been pretty terrible along the way and it wouldn't have happened in the first place if the work was done well. We are saving hundreds of dollars every month because of the solar system, but I would have gladly paid more money with another company rather than deal with all the hassle we have gone through.
