He replaced the line that was leaking, but instead of just putting it back how it was (in an awkward position that possibly caused the leak to start with), he fixed the pipes so the water line would fit better. Also, when he arrived he was prepared with inside shoes and took his shoes off without me having to ask (some might not care about that, but it matters to me and shows courtesy) :) Overall we are extremely satisfied with the work and friendly, professional service.

So, when we needed to have a new garbage disposal installed, we called them. We bought the garbage disposal elsewhere for around $250.00, so all they had to do was install it. They charged us more than $850.00 to install it. The guy also left our other sink unusable, and wanted to charge us an additional $800 to fix it. No thanks! Lesson learned. Problem solved in about an hour. Then I asked him to check the laundry room drain that had been intermittently slightly backing up. Again, problem solved! Mark Schwaab is a "Master Plumber" and his prices definitely reflect that. I initially used his…read morecompany to install a water softener, which went smoothly. No complaints. I spent $1825 for this in July 2021. I also used him for my sump pump discharge system also. (My pipes were freezing during the winter). Mark provided a system with a blue hose that I was to use during the warm months and then remove during the winter months. I paid around $500 for this visit. Well...the blue hose lasted maybe 2 days. It was so flimsy that it tore in several spots. Back came Mark with a much better hose that didn't rip, but I had to pay him AGAIN $365!! ($120 for parts and $245 for labor). I considered this to be highway robbery. Lastly, I had Mark replace my sump pump system itself in May of 2023 ($630 for a new sump pump). In September of 2024 it wasn't working (constantly running without water being in the well). I was pissed and texted him to let him know that it was running constantly and to ask about the warranty. I also said that unless he was willing to provide a free service call, I would be using another plumber whose fees were more reasonable. When Mark showed up at my house, he was angry. He said that the sump pump broke because my discharge hose was kinked. I attempted to tell him that the hose was only kinked for a few hours (my lawn service company had moved the hose the previous afternoon in order to mow). Mark didn't want to hear it. When I was trying to talk to him, he walked away saying "don't yell at me about a malfunctioning sump pump when it's your fault. I'm giving you a free replacement even though it's your fault". Suffice it to say, I won't be using his company again. A customer should never be yelled at.
