The Lowes staff informed us they would call us the following week to keg us know we we could stop in to pick it up. That week came and went no call from Lowes. So the following monday we called and were told it was in that we could stop by to pick up our order. We made special arrangements by borrowing a truck to get he snow blower home only to get there and no one knew what we were taking about. They told us it should be in at the end of the week that they would call us. Again no call. At this point we are wondering did they even order it for us? We had already paid for the item a month prior. Finally we called they told us it was in and that we could get it that night. We get up to the register and the check out girl seemed annoyed that she had to help. All around not a great impression of the store. We will not be back anytime soon!

We bought a GE clothes dryer to replace the GE clothes dryer that came with our house a year and a…read morehalf ago. The belt went out in the original dryer and I was too busy with a project to change it myself. I called a local repair place and overcharged ($260) for a 10 minute belt replacement. 2 days later the dryer stopped heating. We decided to stop the bleeding and replace the dryer. Bought the new one and within 5 days it sounded like a severed head was rolling around inside. Here's where the problem started, I called Lowe's and they said it was over 48 hours so I needed to call the manufacturer. The closest appointment was 2 1/2 weeks out. While we're waiting for our appointment the dryer stopped heating! 3 week old dryer and Lowe's won't take back this Lemon! Don't get me wrong, the folks that work there are awesome, it's the company policy's that changed and now SUCK!!

Went to the Wixom store 8/28/26 to get three pieces of 6' vinyl J channel to complete my home…read moreproject. Service desk wrote me a ticket for $47.00+ to pay for up front and self serve pickup in 'shed TR 29, upstairs'. Went through the back-of-store gate arm looking for TR 29 (there isn't one) however, I knew where vinyl siding is stored from a past purchase. After searching 30 minutes for the SKU number to match my PO, finally got some help from a Menards warehouseman forklift operator. 15 minutes more searching resulted in out of stock explanation. Back through the exit gatekeeper, signing electronic receipt that I received zero product and Customer Service for refund. Now, they want me to pay a 'restocking fee' of 25%! The third service representative was a manager who waived the fee. 1.5 hours wasted; left with no product, only frustration. So long to Menards for building materials!
