Once inside I think the reason was that there were 3 small children running around. Eventhough, I brought her in at 9:30am she wasn't ready until 4pm. Paying was disappointing as well. I should have asked what the groom would be. I thought $75 for a small (less than 20 lbs.) dog was too high. Also, I planned to use my credit card, but not until pickup was I told she only takes Zelle or Apple Pay.

It was a beautiful experience despite heart wrenching emotions. Dr. Nesbit has been an excellent Vet for Miller, and I appreciate how he never tried to rack tests and pricing up and always seemed truly focused on the well-being of my dog. Dr Nesbit has a spirit that only other dog lovers and dogs understand. When I walked in, everyone was so kind and gentle--I felt safe right away. They gave my paws the royal treatment, trimming all that wild floof into neat little feet again. I can actually see my toes now (and my humans say I look so fancy). Not only do I feel lighter and cleaner, but I got so much love and attention while they worked. Pooler GA PetSmart…read more....... This has to be the most incompetent staff EVER in the history of PetSmart. I took my dog there for a simple cut and bath, mind you he is an older dog. After two hours, I get a call from a trainee who stated that she has trimmed my dog's torso, but is unable to trim his face and tail because he won't stand up on four legs. She stated that my dog was sitting on his hind legs. I asked her what does that have to do with you trimming his face and crown. She stated that my dog also had a slight head tilt and it's going to take longer and that she had another dog to groom. I asked for the manager, so she put her RUDE manager on the phone. I asked him if he could have another Groomer do my dogs face because his trainee said she felt uncomfortable because of the way my dog was acting and not standing up. Kept citing safety concerns...... I pleaded again with the manager to let one of his other groomers just finish my dogs face and crown because I had no other option and I was going on vacation the next day. He rudely said " I told you that I didn't have anybody , so you need to come and pick your dog up"!!! I hung up and rushed to get my dog. When I arrived, my dog looks for fine and not sluggish. He was walking around on all fours no head tilt in sight.. I asked the manager can you please put my dog back on the table, so that I can see what you were talking about with the head tilt and him refusing to get up. He refused to do that and then another big mouth only other male employee Groomer started running his mouth saying they won't touch him again. I said you're all a bunch of lazy ARSES and exited the building. I see why they have all these one star and two star reviews because they are all nothing but a bunch of lazy employees who do bad work and should not be allowed to touch another dog ever again!! I took him to a reputable groomer "Wolf Gang" and he did just fine with them. I normally take my dog to Wolf Gang in Pooler, but they were booked for that day!!

My heart melted to see them dressed up. We always pick up fun bakery treats on the way out. I just wish there was 15 minute pick up and drop off parking available. My friend shared their website with me to book my first appointment, but I didn't see any dates that worked for me, so I decided to reach out later. To my surprise, the salon texted me the very next day asking if I had any questions since I'd registered my pup but hadn't scheduled yet. Now that's great customer service! They were able to fit me in with a new groomer the following weekend, which was awesome. On the day of the appointment, the salon is located in a small strip mall just off DeRenne Ave. There's plenty of parking for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. The lobby is small but clean honestly, it doesn't need to be fancy; it's a dog grooming spot, after all! What I really loved was the grooming area. It's set up kind of like a mini doggie daycare no cages! The dogs are free to play with each other, which made me feel so much better about leaving my dog there. Tobi was initially hesitant, but as soon as he saw the other dogs, I basically became invisible. LOL They texted me within an hour of dropping him off, which was way quicker than I expected for a bath and cut. Plus, their prices are really reasonable. They also offer fun spa packages like fur gems, fur feathers, chalk fur painting, and even hair coloring! If you're looking to spoil your dog, they've got a birthday add-on with a birthday cake shampoo, paw cream, a photoshoot, and more. The sweetest touch was getting a "report card" text after I picked Tobi up. It included a before-and-after picture along with a note about how he did during his grooming session. Every person I've met so far, including the owners, is super friendly and genuinely loves their job and the dogs. That's so important when you're trusting someone with your furry friend.
