In December, we came home from vacation to find our furnace leaking. It was old and clearly time to…read morereplace it, so we had five companies come out to quote an oil furnace replacement. This ended up being a learning experience. Most companies used scare tactics--pushing urgency and pointing out issues in a way that felt overwhelming. We already knew it needed replacing, but we didn't want to feel pressured. Then Jimmy from J. Joyce came in. Instead of pushing, he said something completely different: "If you have problems before you decide to replace it, give me a call--there are a few things I can do to keep you going through the season." That told us everything. He was the only one who led with honesty instead of fear--and that's why we chose J. Joyce. When we received the quote, we were even more impressed. It was fair, thorough, and included everything--equipment, installation, removal, and warranty. We even compared all five quotes side-by-side and felt confident we were making the right choice. Once we approved, they were there the following week and completed the job efficiently. The team was professional, respectful, and kept our white basement impressively clean throughout the process. We want to give a special thank you to: * Angelina - always helpful and great to work with * Jimmy - for your honesty, hard work, and attention to detail * Taylor, Big Joe, and Little Joe - you guys were fantastic and clearly take pride in your work Everyone we dealt with, whether by phone or in person, was outstanding. We did our homework--and we're glad we chose J. Joyce
