About a year or so ago, I was pulled over in Cobb County…read more My second super speeder in less than a year. My fourth in three years. If you are unfamiliar with GA's super speeder law, its is speeding violation where you are clocked at going 20 miles or more over the speed limit. The officer claims he clocked me at 85 in a 55. So, after 7 months and paying a really good lawyer, the judge agreed to reduce the speeding ticket if I completed a 20-hour risk reduction class. The class is sanction by the state of GA, so there is $292 fee associated with the class. You aren't going to find it any lower. My particular judge would not allow me to take the class online, so you may find it cheaper if you can take an on-line course. Ms. Brown and her staff were patient with me and my I don't have time for this attitude. I had until February 23 to complete the class and of course I waited til the last possible weekend to do it. Again, Ms. Brown and her staff accommodated me and allowed me to pay upon arrival, but still held my space in the class, when they normally require the fee to be paid to hold your space in the class. Some others in the class, also mentioned they were allowed to make payment arrangements on their fee. You won't get your certificate of completion of the class is paid in full, but at least they are willing to set up payment arrangements with you. I really appreciated that each month from October to February, they contacted me monthly to let me know when the classes would be offered. The class ran from Sat 9-6, Sun 9-6 and Monday from 5-10. Thankfully, there were a several 15 minute breaks and a lunch break each day. I learned some things I didn't know about impaired driving, and while those things may not always apply to your situation, they will wake up your knowledge of those things. Professional staff and professional experience. While I hope to never need their services again, if you have court-ordered anger management, dui/risk reduction or need counseling services, I highly recommend this place. 17 of 100

They're cool but if you really want to learn how to drive, straight back, offset, parallel, and alley you need to break your ankle running to Lala and Frank. Mitch is awesome too he helped me with offset but he'll mostly be at the test site and will give you some great pointers to calm your nerves. Now... as far as getting in touch with the office for anything you have to go up there cause calling won't do a damn thing. And even when you go up there, they either won't be there or they'll be sleep lol. I've had to call their call center just to get in touch with them. I never get a call back, just an email. The office clearly doesn't care much about the students and that's fine... why waste your time talking to us when you just care about us giving you the money right ? Eh whatever, anyways Lala, Frank, and Mitch were my go tos and they should be yours as well or whenever you go, you'll find out why. Good Luck !

My intake call was compassionate, friendly and understanding. As an adult driver, I felt embarrassed, but the individual who took my call was so understanding. I had lessons set up with Ms. Karen, who I HIGHLY recommend. She was patient and didn't push. After 10 lessons with Ms. Karen, I am now driving normally to my place of work and leisure. The actual instuctor is also SUPER nice- says my daughter. She said he was calm, they laughed & he was great! He told me she is a great driver, so that's reassuring!!! They took 3 2-hr sessions together. First on the normal road & around town. Second day was practicing parking, etc. Day 3 was hwy 316 & 85.... at 5:30-7:30 pm on a Monday. The following week, I actually went to a competitor driving school and learned so much more in one lesson than the two lessons I paid A1. That disappointed me greatly cause I essentially wasted money with these people. I agree with a fellow commenter. I wish there were profiles for the drivers. I could've picked a better instructor. I searched around for cna training courses and they were one of the least expensive. When it was time to take state test, we didnt have to travel they came to us. I received my certificate and they also helped me with finding a job. I would definitely go back when im ready to further my career.
