Took Samsung 23 Ultra to Oak Street store to have broken screen replaced. Picked up repaired phone and screen quit working on second day. Returned phone to have another screen installed. They have had phone for 5 weeks and call me and said phone does not work at all now. They want to charge another $100 for diagnostics. Very poor customer service. -50!!!! You better have a video recording before you go in the Maumelle store to get the warranty covered on the screen they replaced just 3 months ago! I keep telling them the phone wasn't dropped. Their technician pushed some buttons on my phone and made the part of the screen that was working go black and then a green line came on the screen. He then took off my tempered glass screen protector that was not broken, and broke it in front of me. He then took pictures and sent it to his boss and they say it was dropped. I kindly said why did you just break it in front of me. He asked me to leave. I said some unkindly words then! And don't think you can call and talk to the manager or owner. I brought my phone to get my charger port fixed and came out with a phone that was hard resetting every 3 minutes and a broken microphone.

FOR THE MAUMELLE STORE: If zero stars were possible, that's what they deserve. They refused to honor the warranty because of "physical damage" to a replaced iPad screen. The screen that has NO cracks. The screen that was covered in tempered glass that also has NO cracks. The LCD that they replaced is now faulty. It spontaneously went out while sitting on a desk during my shift in the ER. There was no damage. It just stopped working. And the explanation I was given was, "it can't go bad two months later." Then why is there a warranty? Their warranty means nothing. This business stole hundreds of dollars from me. Don't let it happen to you too. read more

Took my phone in to get the screen replaced, reduced quality of the screen was immediately noticeable. For less than $50 more I could have taken it to get an authentic Apple screen (which I now know & recommend you do instead of the off brand screen they used). The screen was literally popping out of place due to a plastic piece left in (which the worker removed after I went back in). After this "fix," it is STILL popping out of place but I will not be returning. I also had the back camera glass replaced, but it was not even cleaned before this was done and there are spots all over the field of the camera. My phone's battery life is now HALF of what it used to be and I believe this is correlated, because the timing clearly lines up after the replacement. I never leave reviews, but this place truly wasted my money. read more

Poor customer service! Took all day to fix when he said it would take at most is 3 hours, then after I brought the phone back to be repaired for a second time it wasn't covered under their 180 day warranty which on their card it says a lifetime warranty. And if you are going to be a real repair shop you need to restore it to factory quality. Also if the phone was water resistant up to 3 meters before it was repaired then it needs to be water resistant when it is repaired! And after all of this he wanted to know if I wanted the old screensaver on it which was broken and also was supposed to be under warranty but guess what, it was not under warranty either! Do NOT EVER use this company. Quoted me a price of $119 then charged me $199. He said he quoted me for a iPhone 6Plus not iPhone 6S Plus. Then asked him why didn't he tell me he had misquoted when he saw my phone, he replied "I didn't think about it. Then he said he could put back on my old screen so I agreed. Then, a another gentleman from the back came out took my phone then proceed to tell me there would be a $50 labor and would NOT give me back my phone. He threaten to call the cops on me. I brought my perfectly functioning (but cracked) iphone 7 in to get the screen fixed. They handed back a phone in worse condition than when i first cracked it- the home button was completely broken and they said it was all my fault. After insisting that this is not okay, they offered to fix the home button meaning a week with no phone, and still charged full price to get the screen fixed. The only reason this isn't a one star rating is because they fixed the home button and apologized for their conduct; however after such a stressful/inconvenient situation you'd think they'd offer a bit more support besides "you took the risk when doing business with us". I wouldn't go here unless you're willing to "take a risk"... P.S., I was later told by verizon about a store close by that repairs iphone 7 screens for about $30 cheaper. It is unusual to encounter the extreme negative customer service as the one I am experiencing with A1 Cellular Repair in (Maumelle) across from Walmart. The repair technicians were nice but inefficient as the screen was not adhered properly to my phone causing a total loss while on vacation. It incurred water damage due to normal exposure as a water resistant phone (it was not submerged). I paid $375.00 to fix my phone in lieu of going to the Apple store (which I would have kept my warranty had I known another repair source cancels said warranty which is my fault). I opted for convenience and it cost me in the end $1175. Thus said, I tried to contact the manager of the store as well as the owner who will not discuss the situation, refund, or try to find solutions for this negligence which they insist did not occur. The Sprint Repair Shop in Florida documented the incorrect repair of the screen which caused it not to seal. So, I hope my community will learn from my mistake and when in need of Cell Phone repair do not seek the assistance of A1 Cellular repair whose owner has three stores (Conway, Maumelle, Russellville). I am sure other cellular repair companies provide customer satisfaction and resolutions. read more

This business doesn't deserve 1 star. Worst experience ever and will not go back and wouldn't recommend to anyone else. Daughter went to have screen replaced. While replacing her screen the tech broke her phone. 2 cables/wires were broken. My daughter broke her screen on her iPhone 6 Plus. She took it to A1 cellular. My daughter had been using her phone all day. After replacing the screen her phone would not work. The guy fixing it said that the phone shouldn't have been working to begin with because a previous repair store had not put some parts back in it such as the home button plate and some screws and that since he "fixed" it it wouldn't work without those parts. But she could pay $50 for one part and $20 for another to make it work. She asked the tech to write down everything that was missing so that we could go to the previous repair store and ask them about it. He stated he couldn't do that because it was a liability. The phone was working before she went in there. When she left the home button didn't work, the camera didn't work and neither did the ear piece. She left crying and upset. Her father met her at the repair place here in Cabot. The tech opened it in front of my husband and showed him all the pieces that the other guy claimed were missing and showed him the cables/wires that the guy had torn/broken. I contacted A1 cellular and spoke to the store manager who said there was nothing he could do because she signed the paper before she left and that they offer a warranty. I was on the phone with him for almost 30 minutes, on hold about 15 of that while he talked to his tech. He kept interrupting me and arguing about her signing and about their warranty. I advised him repeatedly that his tech took $92 dollars from my 17 year old daughter and broke her phone and then tried to get $70 more out of her to fix what he broke. He ends the conversation by telling me that the district manager Dakota would like to meet with me the next day. Upon arriving the manager tells me that they fired the tech that broke my daughters phone because of the incident. Dakota finally shows up about 5:30 and has no interest in helping me. I told him all of the details again and he says they did nothing wrong and he will not refund my daughters money. He says he can't do anything because we allowed someone else to open the phone. He said the phone was DOA according to the repair ticket, completed by the dishonest tech they fired mind you. The phone was not DOA because she had been using it. With the exception of texting due to the broken screen. And again does not correlate with everything the tech said "was wrong with it." The phone was working prior to visiting this business and was not when she left. She was given the causes as to why it wasn't, asked to sign a paper for the repairs and sent on her way. We had to take it somewhere else to have their damage repaired. They have no interest in making things right. They only want to make excuses. You don't fire an employee if they did nothing wrong. They took advantage of a 17 year old kid and ripped her off. I wasted a trip to the store almost an hour from my home and received no apology, no refund, NOTHING! The district manager could have done "nothing" over the phone. Very poor business practices and ethics. That's not how you treat people. read more

recently got my iphone fixed there for 70$ and they made me sign becuase there was "water damage" in the phone. three days after i got it fixed the screen went black, i then took it to youbreak ifix in conway on amity road they told me there was in fact no water damage at all and that a1 cellular used cheap peices to fix my phone ans that there was no way i could get refund becuase i signed saying there was water damage. i would highlly not reccommned a1 cellular. i would refer any to youbreak ifix in conway fir there phone needs very friendly and honest!!! read more
