Went to look at a pickup truck that they had for sale. Owner was asking 3900, blue book value is 2500. I drove it, liked it, and then offered him 3000 because the mileage was really low and I knew he needed to make a little off it as well. He said he was firm on 3900 and "don't give a damn about blue book value" because he thinks it's worth the 3900. I explained to him that blue book value is all that anyone buying a car is going to look at. He stated that he is into it for 3500 so he's not selling it for any less, which I stated that just because you made a bad business decision doesn't mean you can pass it on to the buyer, and offered him 3200. He said no and said "you can leave now" and walked away without so much as shaking my hand. How this guy stays in business I'm not sure, but he definitely needs business lessons read more
