I recently moved from the Houston area and the wife needed a small run about vehicle, (2023 Buick GX) recently purchased from Bacon Auto Ranch near Jacksonville, Tx. I later noticed several rock pits and purchased a touch up tube from their parts department. The paint repair was discolored either thru getting the wrong color or the touch up paint was too old. I took the car and the touch up paint to the service department for some guidance. The tech took me to the parts manager (named above) who was quick to tell me that if I had any paint questions that I would have to drive to the Frankston location. This was his way of taking care of a Bacon customers. If I was the Bacon parts manager, I would have expressed my concern and would have communicated that the touch up paint was correct but perhaps it did not match when dry due to age or how it had been stored. THE BACON SOLUTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN! Give me that touch up paint and I will give you a new one at no charge. I am sorry that you had this problem.
