Billy Bacon and the Bacon family take great pride in their standing within the automotive community. Mike Williams, auto parts manager unfortunately does not represent the Bacon family in the same light. I recently moved from the Houston area and the wife needed a small run about vehicle, (2023 Buick GX) recently purchased from Bacon Auto Ranch near Jacksonville, Tx. I later noticed several rock pits and purchased a touch up tube from their parts department. The paint repair was discolored either thru getting the wrong color or the touch up paint was too old. I took the car and the touch up paint to the service department for some guidance. The tech took me to the parts manager (named above) who was quick to tell me that if I had any paint questions that I would have to drive to the Frankston location. This was his way of taking care of a Bacon customers. If I was the Bacon parts manager, I would have expressed my concern and would have communicated that the touch up paint was correct but perhaps it did not match when dry due to age or how it had been stored. THE BACON SOLUTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN! Give me that touch up paint and I will give you a new one at no charge. I am sorry that you had this problem. I bought a 2016 chevy traverse for 16,000 cash, turned out it had a bad transmission, torque converter, old old battery that was not even for that kid of vehicle, went back to chevy bacon and all they told me was "it not out problem anymore you bought it " they took no responsibility for anything had to pay everything's out of my pocket ,took it to another mechanic felt like a ought a used cheap car off the street. Customer service is always superb. They are always very friendly. I've been going here for about 5 years for routine maintenance. My only complaint is that we are in the middle of a pandemic and no staff wears a mask. I can understand the mechanics not wearing a mask since they aren't directly involved with customers, but the person at the checkin and all the employees at the pay area, not to mention those employees that go into the waiting room to get coffee, none wear a mask. (Again, very good customer service, when an employee comes in the waiting room they always engage in conversation, which is great, except you are at close proximity talking to me without a mask on.) Customers don't even wear a mask. I will say my last trip had a near full waiting room. Keep in mind it's a small waiting room. I was sharing the couch with a lady wearing only a face shield. The other 3 people were maskless. An elderly gentlemen was coughing up a storm. It sounded like a smokers cough but I found it ironic that the other maskless couple ended up moving away from the man one chair over. If they were so concerned about his coughing why not wear a mask? This is the last time I go. I just don't feel safe. I know people go here because of the no mask enforcement and the like-minded people, but it is utter disregard for government mandates and public health. read more

I called today to set up my first free oil change and I have three recalls on my new Tahoe. I was told by Ernie that it would be weeks before I could get in. I explained that I needed to go out of town in 5 days and if I could just get the oil changed that would be great. Ernie didn't say anything. I must admit, I have never had a service department tell me that on a brand new vehicle. I would think they would need my business but I guess not. take your vehicle anywhere but here! these guys are those infamous auto mechanic cheats and liars that falsify what your vehicle needs to run up bills. we actually caught them putting water in our fuel to sell us a $2300 repair on fuel pump plus other work. this is AFTER we told we neede an $1800 repair on other parts of the truck that they billed back to the factory.....it didnt need the work. Does NOT even deserve 1 star. I would put zero if possible. I've tried to buy vehicles from here on multiple occasions and had to go to bigger cities to find good customer service and fair deals. One salesman even hung up the phone on me when I told him I didn't like the deal they were offering. The service department is equally as poor. I hope Bacon closes the doors so a better dealership can come to town. read more

I bought a new 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab Pickup for my wife on 4/01/2013 from Bacon Auto Ranch. It was the first new vehicle my wife has ever had. She was so excited. Bacon was great, my salesman, Jeremy Burr, had everything ready for us at our scheduled delivery appointment and was warm, friendly, and very knowledgable about the product he was selling. I am very, very pleased with the deal that we made. The finance manager, Justin Prnka, was awesome and friendly. He was able to beat my credit union's interest rate by alot. He genuinly listened to my needs and was able to taylor my financing to even exceed my expectations. I will continue to do business with Bacon and with Jeremy for all of my future vehicle needs.
