That level of kindness and customer service is rare these days, and I truly appreciated it. Ty was professional, helpful, and just an all-around great person to work with. Kia of Greer is one of the best dealerships I have dealt with and this is my second time owning a Kia car.

That's when I realized they never touched what my appointment was for. Instead, they searched to check everything 'but' what I came for. Yes, very nice that they checked every dollar possible to keep my car in good condition but like I said, they never even touched what my appointment was for, which has nothing to do with the engine at all. Hour and a half after the appointment begins they finally tell me this will take another hour or two....just to replace a weather strip on one door. Not cooling service, minor oil change, or any other additional service recommendations. Just to replace a weather strip.

Their prices are very reasonable, and they are genuinely some of the nicest people you'll meet. I had issues with the last place I'd been going to because they always called with some other major thing that was supposedly wrong with my car to charge me extra for something every time I went in--even when I was already paying for major repairs. I know it's because I'm a female and they would try to scare me into more work being done. Choosing Pro Tire was the best decision I could have made. I have been using L Japan Autoservices for the past 5 or 6 years. My experience has been one in…read morewhich Joe, who is the owner of L Japan Autoservices, has always charged me a fair price for his services. Recently, I decided to purchase a used Lexus and needed a pre-purchase inspection report. Now at the time, L Japan Autoservices was unavailable, on such short notice, and so I scheduled an appointment with First Class Halt. It was very easy to make an appointment with First Class (FC) and I was able to have my used Lexus inspected almost immediately. However, I soon found out that FC charged me roughly twice what L Japan Autoservices charged for the same service. FC charged me $250 for the pre-purchase inspection report and found a small oil drip near my engine. FC then told me I should have an UV Engine Dye Test to locate the source of the small oil leak for $200. They also said once we know where the leak is coming from we can fix it for an additional charge. I thanked FC for their report and after a few days was able to set up an appointment with Joe of L Japan Autoservices. Now, Joe only charged me $125 for his pre-purchase inspection report. Joe took a video of his inspection and sent it to my phone. He pointed out quite a number of small issues that I should be aware of, like my battery terminal corrosion. In addition, Joe showed me on the video where the very small engine oil drip was and felt that because there was no oil leaking on the ground, and no burnt oil smells, and the oil dipstick level had not changed significantly I could just watch it for now and address this issue later. This advice saved quite a bit of money and worry. Thank you Joe!

I can't express how thankful I am that I found this group of fine and honest professionals. I will only take my present vehicle and/or when I purchase a new one. So many auto repair places try to rip you off today. Mastertech Auto, the one on 3301 Rutherford Road does not. They are personable, patient, and have integrity, a quality which unfortunately is pretty much lacking in our society today. They claim to be Lexus experts (my car is a Lexus). Different employees told me different recommendations which was concerning. I dropped the car off and the next day got a voicemail that the car was fixed and ready for pickup. Great, when I finished transferring my belongings back into my car I am told it just went up on the lift to get worked on. No work had been done whatsoever. Lots of miscommunications on their end. Finally, when I schedule an appointment to get the car fixed the following week they tell me they can't get me in/don't have a loner car until the following week because some people blew their engines and their cars were being worked on. I said "forgot it, nevermind" and went to a competitor I used in Greenville before. They fixed my car in less than 24 hours and had the loner car ready. Ridiculous..

Approximately one month ago, took our 2001 Mazda here and told them it had turned off at red lights…read moreand was jerking and acting like it was going to turn off as we were driving and a warning light was on. Almost $1,800 later, we at this moment are standing in a parking lot, waiting on a tow truck, on Hwy 123 where two sweet young men helped us finish pushing our car out of the intersection. The car has stranded us twice since we paid YOUR HONEST MECHANIC nearly $1,800 for this very same reason we took it in for. They talked very nice to us and they said they felt they could fix this problem. We kept getting notices that this additional thing needed done and that needed replaced/repaired. We were under the impression all these new issues they were coming up with were necessary to repair the problem we brought the car in for!! At $1,800 they were still saying something else needs work but at this point we were out of money and not knowing ANYTHING about cars we weren't sure we should put more money into the car. We were told the original problem was repaired. Obviously it was not. We took it back for them to look at just a few days afterwards because that light came back on and they said they would like to do another diagnostic and it appeared there was a very slight leak around the top of the radiator. (We have had no issues with radiator leaks at all. Ever.) I would expect that $1,800 should have fixed the issue we walked in with. I believe they knew they had a couple of senior citizens who were completely ignorant about mechanical issues and took it from there. We are waiting, once again, on a tow. That $1,800 could have went a long ways towards our insulin or eliquis or any of our other prescriptions and doctor appointments. I'm giving One star because I can't give 0. Reason being, the very problem we told them about when we took the car in was NOT fixed. It's still doing the very, exact thing. Nothing new. Exactly how it was doing that made us take it in to begin with. They say they test drove it and it was fine but obviously they didn't drive it in the same way a person would use their vehicle because it still turns off if we sit at a light for too long and it will still jerk and act as if it's going to turn off sometimes when we are going down the road. Same 'symptoms' we had when we took it to them.
