Don't do it. Skip A1 and try the next listing. I had a horrible experience. Terrible communication, like no attempt. I had to call and ask if they were showing up. "On the way", which means you wait another hour and a half. If you like getting jerked around, you're going to love their service. read more

Took our son's car in for a windshield replacement. They were quick, friendly and did a wonderful job.

To resolve this, A1 had me go to Subaru so Subaru could confirm the glass was not correct and disabled my safety features, which they did. After, they finally agreed to correct this, so I ended up taking my vehicle to the Eugene location to have it properly fixed. Overall, this was not worth the trouble, many trips to A1 (3 total) and 1 trip to Subaru, or amount of time I spent resolving this. I would recommend going anywhere but here. read more

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING TO THIS PLACE. Negative stars would be the best rating I would give them. Complete windshield replacement for $225, but could come with a cost. I walked around my car to find black adhesive all over the paint, told the tech to get the crap off my car...his reply, I must have missed that side.' Showed him where the top drivers side weather stripping had a gap between the windshield top edge, he tried to put it in place, but didn't stay...still has a gap. Told him I was concerned with a leak in the future...he said 'oh, it's sealed'. We'll see about that. Top left weatherstripping pulled so much it no longer fit at the back end of my car! Passenger lower windshield also had gap in weatherstripping. Wonder when it will start leaking. Then to top it off, getting into the car, I find chips of glass (must have broken old windshield), pieces of rubber, and debris all over the seats and front passenger compartments. I'm glad I took photos of this mess, and the home office will soon know about it. I should have known when I heard the guy at the counter telling someone that they should bring the car back in and 'they'll make it right'. I distrust them so much that I won't ask them to fix any problems. Instead, I will go to a reputable company for any future problems. Why chance it? read more

I stopped by today to check the seal on my rear liftgate glass because it was leaking. I had never been to A-1 before but was recommended by the place I got my oil change. Steve cleaned all the muck and pine needles out of the liftgate and gave me a complete run down about how to care for the seals! He went above and beyond, thank you! The works seems acceptable, but the shifting, ever-increasing price is not. I was quoted a price of $239 when I made an appointment for a windshield replacement. Before bringing it in, I got a text msg saying that the cost would be $259 if I wanted a heated windshield (I did not). After dropping the car off, I received another text msg saying that it would be $259 even if I wanted an unheated windshield. Then, when I came in to pick up my car, they asked for $269....does not inspire much trust (or much likelihood I'll go there next time). read more

A1 replaced my windshield last week. I can not give enough kudos for their service. They stayed open late, the job was well-done, and most importantly the windshield was so much better than the windshield they replaced. The old one had so many imperfections embedded in the glass that on a sunny day it was like looking through grease. This new windshield is such an improvement. They replaced my seal and glass in my truck. Never mentioned they found rust which voided my warranty until I called back a couple days later to tell them it was leaking. My receipt showed nothing about a voided warranty. The general manager was supposed to call me back, and never did. Their employee, Shane, told them he told me about the warranty, which is a total fabrication. Very disappointed. I know they aren't a body shop, but this should have been communicated to me. I hope they remedy this situation. I do not recommend this business and their shady business practices. Very poor customer service and communication! read more

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Do not waste your time or your money. I have had to take my vehicle back 3 times and it still isn't fixed. They had replaced my windshield but failed to seal it properly. The seal along the sides and top are coming up from their channels and the top seal is now just completely missing. It should have been installed right the first time and it STILL hasn't been corrected. "Working" with this company has been nothing but a hassle. Poor customer service and poor quality of work. The seal around the windshield is still coming up and is not flush. I even tried taking it to the location in Eugene; no help. They do not want to make up for the mistake they have made and are trying to "band-aid" the situation every time by adding a smelly adhesive that won't keep it in place. They should have replaced it completely and started over to correct it. Do not waste your time or your money! read more
