having only gone here for accupuncture i wanted to update regarding other services. unsurprisingly dr. tran extends excellent care in this regard as well. my cane was experiencing an ear infection for the first time ever and she took the time to not only gently clean his ears out completely and slowly, so i could see the process and repeat it at home myself. she prescribed an easy to use ear med and then also recommended an ear wash, giving me the option of looking it up online in case i wanted to see if i could get it cheaper or purchase it with the prescribed med at the clinic. because the care and prices are so exceptional, i opted to purchase it there, feeling confident there really wasn't a need to look online. after checking out, she came back out to the waiting area and went over the med with me slowly and even gave him his first application there in the lobby so i could feel comfortable doing it at home myself. she said he should feel relief in about 5 days but he had completely stopped shaking his head and scratching within under 2 days. with his arthritis primarily in his hips i could tell it was really uncomfortable for him to reach around and up to try and scratch using his hind legs, so the relief we all had knowing he wasn't irritated anymore was so invaluable. tacking on another treatment like the extensive ear cleaning during his accupuncture session could have easily and understandably been an additional charge but i was only charged for the meds and his accupuncture and given the care and peace of mind we have come to cherish from this place. we are so lucky to have dr. tran and anyone can and will feel comfortable and cared for here! read more

Hands down the best veterinarian I've ever been to! I absolutely love Dr. Tran -- she's incredible with my pets and my son's pets as well. We went to 9Tails on Sunday after our dog hadn't eaten for a week. Before that, we had already seen another vet on Wed and Sat and yet they couldn't rule out the cause and Marble's appetite declined more. We're grateful that Dr Tran takes walk-ins on Sunday.We asked if an X-ray could be done. She agreed, and the X-ray showed what looked like a foreign body in our pup Marble's stomach. Following her recommendation, we went to the ER where they repeated the X-ray. The radiologist there didn't believe there was a foreign body, and after waiting for hours at the ER, the diagnosis was still inconclusive. The ER vet wanted to run more tests but eventually agreed that surgery might be necessary after the ultrasound imaging and a second opinion on the X-ray study indicated something possibly in her stomach. The next day we called 9Tails again, and they were kind enough to squeeze Marble in for surgery after her overnight stay at the ER. Dr. Tran performed the gastrointestinal surgery and took amazing care of Marble. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Tran and the 9Tails team kept us informed with phone calls and texts about the procedure, what she found, and how Marble was doing under her care. That level of communication meant so much to us during such a stressful time. Dr. Tran truly went above and beyond to treat our dog and helped us navigate a very scary situation. Although I posted a very short review previously, I felt compeled to write another based on continued experiences. Dr. Tran is truly the best veterinarian anyone could ask for. I first found her last year when one of my dogs, Tori, was diagnosed with a slipped disc while receiving treatment at another facility in OC and from a neuro specialist. While our experience wasn't bad, I felt uncertain about the options presented to me and wanted a second opinion to ensure I was making the best decisions for my fur baby. Dr. Tran and her team provided a sense of reassurance. She is incredibly caring, compassionate, and most importantly genuine. I have entrusted all three of my dogs to her care, including one that has sadly passed, making a total of four. I have even referred friends to her, and my crazy GrandDog, Kitana! Her dedication and kindness have meant the world to me, and I am grateful to have found such an exceptional vet. She is so great that I find myself visiting her office more than I ever have at any other vet (likely because I have seniors and a younger adopted beauty). I even joke that I can't stop visiting! But in all honesty, the care and dedication Dr. Tran and her team provide make every trip worthwhile. No matter how often I'm there, they are always welcoming and accommodating, ensuring I never feel like my visits are a bother.
