This store has the rudest clerks and no business! All the clerks do is sit around and gossip about the few customers they have.

Close to home and great buys! Love the produce section and the prices. Store is disorganized!

Its the only 99 cent store nearby, the only other one nearby is Redlands & there are none in Beaumont (although Beaumont does have a Dollartree, ironic so does Banning a few blocks down).... Anyhow, this one has seems to have alot of items - fully stocked, but can run out quickly, especially eggs (though they sell them in 1/2 cut egg cartons nowadays) :( I usually prefer to go to this one, Im almost always guaranteed to find what I'm looking for, even the stuff the other 99c stores run out of, I can find the quantity here. The only thing is sometimes the lines are long (almost all 99c stores usually have 2 people ringing up)., but other than that, its pretty good! read more

99 cent stores is one of my favorite stores here in Yucaipa, whenever I come, their employees are very friendly and attentive, from the manager to the cashiers, they are like family. they worked very hard through the pandemic years They always were very helpful. Victoria, Martha, Ruby, Don Luis, Vicky and the Manager they all are very kind , I appreciate all of them. God bless them always to all staff. I like to shop here because there are always many new and seasonal things they have everything whenever I come I walk all the aisles as if it were the first time so I don't miss anything the vegetable department is great they have everything I always buy my celery, tomatoes , ginger, bananas, and others all the aisles are well stocked there is always something to buy apart from what you came to buy there are bathrooms for customers and it is always very tidy and clean I love coming to the 99 cent store Highly recommended. Anyone expecting the prices to be "99cents only" as advertised is in for a shock because these hedge fund owned stores have prices all over the place, well over 99 cents. Picot now costs $2.49, canned goods are $1.29, numerous items are over the 99 cents. Very few items are actually as advertised. Their name of 99cents only is a fake and a fraud. They deserve bankruptcy. read more

I came to visit some family and went here for the first time in the afternoon , all I can say is this lady her name is Martha I asked her if they carried diabetic socks for my dad and she just looked at me and I told her in Spanish. She still looked at me and just called another employee todo her job and help me out, when I come in to a store or restaurant I expect some good hospitality. If she can't help out with stuff like that than she shouldn't be working or Representing the store like that. read more

I have shopped here numerous times with no issues. Last time I did which was just a few days ago, was my last. While shopping I decided to pick up a few silks for my front door. I go over there and there must have been at least 20 flies in the silks. A worker walks past and I asked he they were aware of the abundance of flies and his response was "sure". He continued to tell me when the silks come in, there are always lots of flies. I asked do you do anything to get rid of them and was politely told "no". The silks are but just a few feet from their produce and other foods. If they let the flies in their silks I can't imagine what the food section is like. After that I left the store and I for one will not return. read more

I shop here once in awhile and have a pretty big variety of things. My problem is with the majority of the workers there who walk right by you or are ringing you out as if you are invisible. The guy with the dyed hair and nose ring needs to get the stick out of his ass and offer some customer service besides just glaring at people like they're a bother. read more

My wife an I went into this store and bought some things one of the things we bought was a knife set with knife holder we got home opened the box and what did we find nothing, just a wooden knife holder no knifes nothing there was supposed to be 7 knifes one shears free mixing paddles five measuring spoons and the knife holder to our surprise there was just the knife holder. We tried to call the store but of course no one answered and then all we got was a busy signal. I'm going to try and return it first thing in the morning, I only hope they will refund us . These days I just don't have $22.00 to throw away I'm on a fixed income an disabled. I sure hope they make it right. Find out tomorrow. So I'm going to wait to give it any star's it won't let me post unless I rate it. I'll change it if they do the right thing. read more

Literally the most unprofessional employees I have ever seen at a store. Unfortunately this is the closest one to me. Staff is unfriendly to customers and talk to each other while checking out customers. I hate when I have to come here, I hope management steps up and does something about their staff. read more

We shopped this past Saturday. Ruby was our cashier. She was so wonderful! She double bagged our heavy items and she was very efficient and so cheerful. She really went out of her way to provide excellent customer service. Ruby is a definite asset to the store! What a great employee!! read more

Virginia the cashier is the most inconvenienced employee I have ever met. I accidentally grabbed one box too many and when I asked her for a return she acted like it was the end of the world. I was polite with her but she showed me no respect back, let alone customer service. I know it's a dollar store but I'd hope the company expects at least minimum wage customer service from their employees. Disappointing. read more

If I could give this store no stars I would. I've been shopping at this store for almost 10 months every week. And I normally never have a really bad experience until last night. I found anywhere from 20 to 30 ants crawling around in the cornbread mix I bought. I was so shocked and immediately called the store and the manager I spoke with was a complete idiot. She was rushing me off the phone and not even acknowledging that there was a problem. So I call this morning and ask to speak with the store manager and she was just as bad as the other one. She literally told me it wasn't a big deal because there are ants everywhere! Seriously!?! It's not okay when you work in a grocery store!! I actually had to hang up on her because I couldn't listen to her anymore. I would stay far away from this store. And I will never go back there. read more

Well, what can I say. Our worst experience ever today as we were put down by a cashier because my wife didn't know how to do the cashier's job. We got both food and non food items and my wife gave her exact change for the non food and was preparing to swipe her CalFresh card and the cashier dumped on her for not swiping the card first. Because of that, she had to totally void the sale, which she had no idea how to do, and by the time she found someone to show her we had been standing there for ten minutes. All this so that we could buy one non food and 2 food items. That's on top of her taking about ten minutes on the two people before us who combined were buying about twenty items. My wife and I both have injured backs and we were in pain just from having to stand around so long. This female cashier could care less about our pain so we ended up walking out without anything making the trip a total waste of time. This isn't the first bad experience we have had at that store, but we've never been disrespected at any of those stores including this one. We will now just wait to get that stuff until we are in Redlands tomorrow. read more

The beans are amazing. I hate beans but 99 cent beans make this mouth happy. I go here for cleaning solutions and beans. Worth it. Wish I could get trash bags. No trash bags no 5 stars. I even get romaine lettuce for our lizard here. I wouldn't dare eat that. And were always helped by ever so friendly miss eyebrows. Thank you for your service. read more

This by far is one of my favorite 99 cents stores around. They had unique things that I have not seen before and a fully stocked up cell phone accessory dept. The isles were wide and not crowded like most I have gone to where you have to have an obstacle course setting to get through with a cart. My only complaint about this store is the the guy digging in the trash outside and spreading stuff around making a mess and the other guy who asked me if I would help him buy groceries because he doesn't get his check until next week. I understand people are struggling but I do not think the 99 cent store is the place to be asking people for help. He seemed to get really taken back that I said no. If I am in the area again I will definitely come here again. read more

Good, cheap stuff you never knew you needed located here. I can never leave this store without getting at least $5 worth of stuff. I usually pick up snacks to take to work to share with coworkers or when I am having a butt load of peeps over. Many a party of mine has been stocked with 99 cents only items. I rushed in to buy "Post It's" and found some other great items. What stood out about my whole experience was how nice Jan (employee) was to me. She greeted me and commented on my items. She wished me a Happy New Year and I truly felt she was warm and caring. I've been here a few times and I'm not usually greeted my the employees while in the store. This place is dirty and the employees are completely incompetent... Last time I went in, a tick had landed on my arm... the produce we got was rotten, the batteries we bought were actually leaking battery acid, and the checker was the slowest checker I've ever had in my life... when I got up to her I told her I needed bags, as I had quite a few items. She proceeded to check all the items and then ask if I needed bags, as the line behind me was backing up with customers and she for god knows why was the only open checker. So then it takes her about 5 minutes to bag my items, all the while everyone behind me is rolling their eyes and scoffing. Don't blame me for the shitty service.
