This place is amazing. We've lived here since mid-November, and it felt like home after just a few weeks. The grounds are quiet and well-kept. Management has been excellent to us every step of the way, especially the general manager Erica and the maintenance guy Brian--from move-in maintenance requests to a lovely Christmas card, we don't anticipate moving until we're ready to buy a house. Some residents live here for decades--it's an older building, so keep that in mind, but they are renovating a few units gradually. It has some quirks, like any building, but appliances are new and work great (Whirlpool everything). We've also really enjoyed using our wood fireplace during the colder months! Reserved parking is included in rent and never an issue, with plenty of guest parking around as well. Can be a bit tricky to make the left turn out of the complex and onto Redmond-Woodinville road at peak hours, though! Other than that, it's just a short walk or drive to everything Redmond and Woodinville have to offer.
The covered underground parking is very tight, with some spots completely inaccessible even for a regular-sized sedan, so if that's important to you, consider that you may be waiting a while for a suitable spot (there's a wait list for parking in at least one of the buildings). The uncovered outside spots are very roomy, however, and it seems like a very safe complex. Walls are thick, we never hear our neighbors!
This place also has the most affordable rent for any building we visited in the Redmond area (we did a lot of shopping around), and has secure entry, which many complexes around here lack. We needed an entry onto a secure hallway, for our escape artist of a cat and eventually young children. It's nice having an extra layer of security, too. There are a lot of families with kids living here, which is awesome and encouraging for us as we move toward starting a family ourselves. read more
