$500 and not a single mention that this company expects you to teach your child to drive before they'll even ride with them until you've already paid. You then must log your kids hours then try to find a way to schedule them to go on a drive with their instructors and the availability is very limited. We called several times to book a driving lesson in which several times no one answered. When we got someone there was always seemingly no availability. Several police offers which we are friends with stated they were paid late or not at all. The owner was rude when confronted, asked for additional monies which we paid and still could not get a slot to allow our son to drive. We went to United driving school and our son passed and we had no hassle getting booked. read more

TERRIBLE!!! We enrolled our son in this school in December of 2023 and he completed his 8 hour class and his first of three drives with an instructor. Now, 4 months later, we have been unable to schedule his other drives. There are no apts available outside of school hours, and nobody answers the phone. I emailed this school for a copy for my certification so I could receive a discount on car insurance. They completed lost my certificate/record. The lady on the phone didn't try to help me anymore and simply wished me "good luck". I wouldn't need good luck if they could just do their job and hold onto a record. read more

I registered my son in this school knowing I was going to pay more but wanted the convenience of it being close to home. Upon completing the 8 hour class, I got my sons login information to help him get his drives scheduled. They told me that I needed to check availability weekly because it changes often but after two weeks of checking, I noticed that no classes were ever available outside of his school hours. Weekends never had availability and I was so confused how we were going to make it work. We travel alot and have busy schedules so staying on top of this was something I didnt want to go by the waste side. I sent emails (which i can provide) simply explaining the situation and stating I wish this difficulty was something explained up front prior to paying $500. I waited another two weeks and still no availability. I sent another email asking how they suggest we move forward. I wasn't sure how this was going to work, to which my response was...can you come today at 4:30?. I would have loved the opportunity but again we had a doctors appt that day and the short notice threw us off. It was not that I was trying to rush scheduling his drives, we are just schedulers and plan things out. My discussion in email was always wondering how do people do this if no times during the day are available? I finally got a response from owner stating a refund will be processed. No amount to how much or when. Next thing I know they gave me $210 refund meaning they charge $290 for the 8hr class my son took. I called and left a vm because of course they didn't answer the phone. In my vm I stated that I need someone to call me because I am not going to be robbed. I called other schools and no one charges almost $300 for the 8hours drivers ed class and I was not going to be robbed. Other schools do not charge this way and if you are going to refund me atleast refund me so I can take that money and go to another school. Owner Mark called today with the worse attitude I have ever experienced. Told him i was a single mother just trying to get my son scheduled. You guys never gave me any options for any other days that may come available. The only answer was...heres your tiny refund and go pay more somewhere else even though we already charged you more than most schools. Then the part that is even worse and for this alone......all i can say is I pray for him. As a man that feels like he knows it all, he said word of advice for you as a single mother....., if you want people to help you, maybe check yourself and not be so difficult and people may want to help. My mouth hit the floor that a manager would say that. He explained his years of experience and said I was the most difficult person to work with. I asked him...did you even read my emails??? Nothing I said was out of line, like what are you talking about???? He laughed saying oh yes I read your emails....which obviously he didn't. He didn't know i've only been offered one solution of one class a few hours before it started because he acted like i've been given so many solutions so all they could do now was give me a partial refund. He just said you can think what you want but this is just what it is. I can no longer help you. This company is bad business. I would not recommend them to anyone and hope they and especially that manager one day realizes that what he assumed is not what I am. The way he talked to me was unacceptable and what he thinks is helping is really a slap in the face. I serve this community and if he only knew what I do for the kids in it, he would feel ridiculous for what he said. Praying for people like that. Stay away. Don't spend your money here because you won't get what you're paying for. Call around and listen to these reviews. I thought that by having the officers as driving instructors would surely be the best for my daughter. Apparently, they have no driving spots available for the next 4 months and won't contact me. Parental Caution: The school severly overbooks students compared to the number of driving instructors available to perform the driving portion of the program. They offer no assistance in helping you schedule a drive. In two weeks no open spots have been available to book a drive for my son. The instructions from the school are each day log in every hour or so and a spot may open up to schedule a driving lesson, who has time or patience to do this not once but for a minimum of three driving lessons?. 10/10/2018 Update to original post I did hear back from Corey at 911-Driving School who confirmed that this 911-franchaise was sold on September 14 to Mark Khoury. Corey was very apologetic for the scheduling conflicts, she explained that many of the police officers who help with the driving portion of the class are now helping with Hurricane Florence. I advised her that I understood and was grateful that people were helping those effected by Hurricane Florence; however, my son still needed to complete his driving hours. I didn't realize that unfortunate event would delay or stop my son from getting his drivers license. She did schedule my son's driving hours for October, with completion on October 28. So as of now my son hasn't completed any officer-assisted driving instruction, the first session is scheduled fro October 22. I will consider this an acceptable program if he is able to complete the course in two months, but the inaccessibity and difficulty in scheduling drive times is not acceptable. I will update once the driving hours are completed and we have offically graduated from 911 Driving School. Fingers crossed that he will be a prepared, responsible and courteous driver once he earns his drivers license read more

While the classroom & driving instruction my daughter received seemed fine, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service focus. Beware that it is EXTREMELY difficult to schedule drives. Had I not made numerous phone calls & sent numerous emails complaining, it would have taken well over 100 days for my daughter to complete the 3 required drives to be tested for her conditional license. When I voiced concern over the amount of time it took, I was told that my daughter had ONLY logged in 12 times in 60 days to attempt to schedule drives. In those 12 log ins, she was able to schedule ONE drive. Signing in to a system 12 times & have success once seems like a scheduling issue to me, not a customer issue. We had initially signed up for 5 drives as we wanted our daughter to have the most experience possible with an instructor prior to driving on her own. However based on the extreme difficulty of scheduling drives & the fact the instructor asked my daughter why we signed up for so many & stated she did NOT need the additional instruction, we asked for a refund of the last 2 drives. While they agreed to let us use the credit for my daughter to take the parking pass driving class (a $35 class), they flatly refused to refund any of the additional $200 we paid for the extra drives. The initial explanation I received was that it was disclosed on their website & registration materials that students should expect it to take 45-90 days to complete the required drives. I was later told that it disclosed 60-90 days. The lady that I spoke with & communicated with via email was extremely reluctant to help in anyway. I was clearly an annoyance & bother to them but they were more than happy to keep the extra $200 I paid for drives that were next to impossible to schedule. My daughter misplaced her certificate for the parking pass class & needed it today to get her parking permit. Is it their fault she misplaced it? Of course not. Could they have tried to help? I would think. Did they? Nope. I was told their Fort Mill office is not open today so it would be tomorrow before she could get it. I offered for her to go to the Rock Hill office to pick it up but they said they didn't have the right form there. I asked if they could send it electronically & of course they couldn't do that either. Alive at 25 sends a list to the school of kids who take a class. They do not. Again, no effort at all to assist. We have friends who have used the other driving school in Rock Hill & have not had nearly the difficulties. I would absolutely not recommend 911 driving school to anyone. read more

This is a great program with great employees! The drivers are extremely friendly and well educated. I especially liked the instructors, Lauren Galloway and Bill Tabor. From the other experiences I have had at this establishement, I can say most all of the instructors are pleasant and seemingly happy to be teaching. Corey at the front desk is on top of everything she can be, whether that's helping schedule an appointment, helping people with technical issues on their website, or just clearing up confusion about the program. I put 2 of my kids through this school. If I had another, that kid definitely wouldn't go there! The first 2 instructors were fantastic. The last one told my son that his parents had bad morals because of the food we allow him to eat and because we let him start playing video games at an early age. The lessons were fine. We have teenage sons in need of a professional/educational driving course, beyond the scope of what Mom and Dad can offer. So, in lieu of there being no Drivers Ed at our kid's High School, we saw 911 Driving school online and after calls to their office and some research we were convinced this was one step closer to assist with our boy's licenses. Well, after an 8 hour class and $670.00 later, I picked up our boys at 5 pm who had nothing in hand but hand written notes they had taken. No certificate of completion, no next steps documentation, no overview, no evidence a course had been given, nothing.... Feeling like we should have something to show, I feverishly asked the boys what was covered and what now???? Of course they had a few loose notes about getting a permit from the DMV and coming back to 911 for a 2nd course. WTH?!!! Clearly, if you can charge $670.00 (this includes a discount) for a class room instructed (no actual driving) 8 hour class, then the LEAST you can do is have printed materials that spells out next suggested steps or a recap/overview of what was covered! They teach a great class but it is near impossible to get your required 3 drives in. Right now they have 1 drive for the rest of October and 7 drives for November. ALL of them are in the middle of the day while my son is at school and I am at work. How does this help any teenager that is trying to get their drives scheduled? I am so disappointed that I paid $360 (and that is the cheap class) and my son may not be able to finish without having to pay extra. I would recommend that anyone look around first before committing to this driving school. read more
