So my 3 year…read moreold toddler went there for about 2 months and for some reason he was wetting himself about twice a week. He went to the potty fine at home and had zero accidents. I truly in my heart think this daycare was doing something to him as they kicked him out for having an occasional so called "accident". So he, along with a few other toddlers got kicked out after a short period of enrolling there for wetting themselves occasionally. He shook his head "no" when we would pull up at the daycare and he didnt want to go in. Wish I had some kind of camera to see what was going on in there. He now goes to a new daycare and has had zero "accidents" The new daycare sends pictures of him daily looking happy and the staff loves him. If I could give negative stars I would certainly do so.This is the Indian Land location. Please dont take your children to this place!!

We have had two children attend this daycare from infancy all the way through kindergarten, and it…read morehas been such a positive experience for our family. Over the years, our kids have been cared for by so many wonderful teachers who genuinely love and support the children in their classrooms. The staff has always been communicative, caring, and invested in helping each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. One of the things we appreciate most is the consistency. From the baby room through the pre-K and kindergarten years, we've always felt confident that our children were safe, happy, and learning every day. The relationships they built with their teachers and friends have been incredibly meaningful. As working parents, having a daycare we can trust has been invaluable. We are grateful for the care, guidance, and memories our family has experienced here, and we would absolutely recommend this center to other families looking for a nurturing and reliable place for their children.

The Goddard School of Waxhaw undoubtedly makes their best effort to care for all children by providing them with everything they could need while in the schools care. If I could give Zero stars, I'd happily do it, but let me delve deeper into the infuriating ordeal…read moremy grandson endured at Goddard School in Waxhaw--it was nothing short of a living nightmare. Picture this: my innocent three-year-old acting out in class for weeks on end. And what insightful solution does the school offer? Suppression clothes and a suggestion for a professional evaluation. Fair enough, we were contemplating those options. But then, out of the blue, they drop the bombshell--kicking him out on a Friday evening, no less, at the ungodly hour of 6 PM! Can you even fathom the recklessness of such a decision? It left us in an absolute frenzy, scrambling to find last-minute childcare while also threatening the stability of a newly acquired job. When I chose to confront them about their callousness and request a copy of my grandson's file, what did I get? Disrespected and dismissed, with Sherrie having the gall to slam the phone down on me! Let me make it abundantly clear: my grandson has been a part of the Goddard family since he was barely old enough to walk. And yet, after just a solitary month of behavioral struggles, they cast him aside like he means nothing! The audacity of their actions is beyond belief! I'll be honest, as the only African-American male in his class, when I suggested the importance of building his confidence and strengths to prevent him from feeling isolated, I was unfairly labeled as a racist. Despite our request for him to be moved to a more challenging environment being denied, we persisted, determined not to see him left behind. Initially, we thought the Goddard program, being a 5-star school, would be an excellent fit. But in Waxhaw, it's clear it's not suitable for everyone. The resistance we faced in advocating for our child's needs highlighted a troubling lack of inclusivity and understanding. I would not recommend this school at all it you don't want to play the popularity game and buy into these dynamics in order for you child to have equal access to opportunities for advancement DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD at this school.

I'm so sad to write this review, but feel like with all the waitlists for daycares in this area…read moreit's important to share. We moved from NY last year and had LOVED our TLE in Yorktown. It was a no brained then to transition our two boys to the Tega Cay location. We were disappointed from day one. The infant room was good for the most part, attentive with food, breast milk, and diaper changes. Once in the Toddler A classroom they taught good nap habits and for the most part were great with my youngest. There were several teacher changes so after a while we received no updates from them, and saw our son no longer progressing with his speech. For our oldest, we told them he was just turning 4, but they put him in a room with 2-3 year olds. There was an immediate teacher change and the kids stopped doing any workbooks or had any control in the room. I complained and then suddenly he was moved to a room with kids advancing to Kindergarten for the following year. This was night and day and he flourished. Unfortunately the head teacher retired and they merged two classrooms into one. Almost 30 4-5 year olds with only two teachers. Again we saw these teachers overwhelmed and our oldest seemed to no longer be progressing. It boils down to poor administration. These was very poor communication from the Director who took a long time to respond to parent inquiries or emails. Teachers often complained to us about lack of support from the Director, hence the turn over. We ultimately moved our boys in less than a year to another local school and are very happy there.

How can they handle infants? I found my kid sleeping on the dirty carpet many times. They also show iPad during diaper changes etc. - front desk is a shit show... they are always all over the place. They upload pictures once a week because of some weird photo approval policy. No other daycares I know do this. - they say that they have video and you can watch in the office but it's a sham. The video is rotating between rooms and it barely stays in your child's room for a few seconds. We pulled out our kid very fast after seeing how terribly this place was run.

Moving here from another state, where we knew very few people, the staff provided incredible support for our family. We rest assured knowing our girls are well cared for, treated with compassion, kindness, and consistently receive the attention they need. They do a great job keeping the parents involved, whether it's with the various family events throughout the year or communicating via email/app. They always make themselves available for you if you want to discuss something. The owners, directors, and all the teachers are all so caring, and truly wonderful. We especially want to recognize Mrs. Stephanie and Ms. Civa. When my child first started attending in 2023, this center was still operating as Smart Kids, and…read moreour experience was excellent. The teachers were caring, communication was strong, and the leadership team was responsive whenever concerns arose. Unfortunately, after the transition to Learning Jungle, our experience changed significantly. Over time, we experienced frequent turnover among teachers, directors, and assistant directors. In one of my child's classroom alone, there were nearly ten teacher changes during our time there. The lack of consistency made it difficult for children and parents alike, and communication became increasingly inconsistent. My child has documented food allergies, and there were multiple occasions when she was given food she was allergic to despite having an emergency action plan on file and it was not always followed. This was very concerning as a parent. The event that ultimately led us to leave occurred when my child reported being hurt at school by a teacher. I contacted DSS, and both DSS and Learning Jungle later confirmed that video footage showed two staff members physically mishandling my child. While that was upsetting on its own, I was equally disappointed by the response from leadership. My concerns were raised not only with the center director but also with regional and corporate leadership. I did not feel my questions were adequately addressed, and I left those conversations without confidence that my concerns were being taken seriously. There are still some caring teachers at this center, and I appreciate those who positively impacted my child's life. However, based on our experience with staff turnover, leadership instability, allergy-related concerns, and the handling of a serious safety issue, I cannot recommend this facility. I encourage parents to review publicly available reports and conduct their own research before enrolling their child.

Our experience with Bridgemill KinderCare and the KinderCare corporate staff was abysmal at best!…read moreThe whole experience was a lot of smoke and mirrors, they would tell you what you wanted to hear but their actions didn't back that up. Example, telling me the hours and standards of care are going to get better and 1 hour later sending a notice to parents that school was canceled until further notice due to staffing shortages. The low customer service level aside, my 2 biggest issues were 1) learning that their staff is allowed to smoke during working hours as long as they're 25ft from the building. I learned of this policy after the director walked past me at 7:30am smelling like an ashtray. 2) my son has a medical condition that requires immediate adult intervention (no formal medical training is required for this intervention). After communicating this issue multiple times to various staff members and filling out a formal medical form to put in his file, we were informed by a KinderCare corporate employee that there was no one on the property that would be able to properly care for my son if he had an episode at that time. Childcare should be a reliable and safe places for our children. Unfortunately, falling short of those basic standards doesn't even begin to describe the standard of care you will receive from this facility.
