Fix-it Ross has honestly been a life saver on several occasions when I needed to quickly get a house ready for a new occupant. So far he has repainted the interior of three residences for me, installed new hardware, light fixtures, replaced screens, pressure washed exterior and driveways, replaced fencing and repaired a large portion of decking. After seeing his work I hired him for some outdoor projects at my personal residence as well. He and his team have accommodated smaller tasks too like assembling furniture for a short-term rental, programming door bells, digital locks, replacing high up light bulbs, air filters, etc. I also appreciate that they know their limitations and won't just say yes unless it is truly in their scope of knowledge. We initially spoke with Elliot Rue and from the first conversation, we could tell this company focuses on quality detailed work not just turning a job. Both the owner, Greg, and Greg Ford met us at the house to go over the specifics of the job and the logistics of moving and storing materials on the barrier island. We were kept in the loop throughout the process and we sent many pictures during installation. We had the absolute best experience with Mike at Topsail Electric! We bought an oceanfront house…read morewith a good bit of "delayed maintenance". We had a number of rusted fixtures and old recessed can lights that opened into the attic space. Mike came by and made some excellent suggestions for upgrades. None were too expensive and all made a lot of sense! We had Mike change out our old recess can lights with narrow insulated ones and the temperature difference on the top floor was significant. He also added lighting to the lower floors and suggested a chandelier at the kitchen table which seems elementary but I had not thought of it until he pointed it out. It had become a centerpiece for our main floor! We also had Mike replaced the fluorescent lighting in the kitchen with recess cans. He replaced the bathroom vanity lighting and even asked about centering with the new cabinets. It made a world of difference! Mike installed a ceiling fan for us as well. He will be returning this week to replace our wall sconces and outdoor lighting. If you have any electrical issues, I highly recommend Mike with Topsail Electric!!
