I just finished the TN Enhanced CCW class taught by Buddy at 901 Firearms training. It was a great class. Classroom training was lead back and easy to follow. Range was also great where stance, grip and trigger pull was observed and proper instruction was provided when needed. Even though it was several in the class, Buddy made sure to interact with each individual, as well as provided individual hands on training as needed. Very enjoyable and great learning experience. read more

History

Established in 2023.

When I left the Military, I began a career as a Deputy Sheriff on a local department. I worked in several capacities including as a Firearms Instructor. When I finished my career there I was working as an instructor. I began working in the private industry, teaching in Louisianna for a Consulting Firm. After Covid, I decided to work closer to home. At the urging of a good friend, I opened 901 Firearms Training. We have grown in just a few months and are excited about our future training citizens to defend themselves.

Meet the Business Owner: Buddy S.

I am the owner of 901 Firearms Training. I am a U S Army Veteran and retired Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy with several instructor and advanced instructor certifications. I strongly believe in the 2nd Amendment. However, I also believe strongly that, along with the right to bear arms, comes great responsibility. Every death or injury we prevent through the proper training of citizens who own and/or carry firearms is a measure of success.
