This was the first time using Eivan's Photo Inc. How well did they do? Let's find out:…read more Background: We hired Eivan's Photo Inc. for our August wedding. We were not sure what to expect because like any bigger business, they have to coordinate with videographer and photographer on if they are available. The experience was pretty smooth. We picked Gregory I. and Daniel C. out of the list because we liked the samples they they have on their website. Both were professional throughout the event. The grooms party had a little hick up with the schedule which unfortunately affected some of the pictures. Daniel was our photographer and pivoted when he could which made taking pictures. Daniel also had the unfortunate task to coordinating pictures of 2 very large families, which he did a great job with. Gregory was our videographer. I like Gregory but sometime it is slightly difficult to inform him of changes due to him being pretty busy. A good thing is that he has worked with Daniel at events before so they were able to get some great shots along with guiding the party for some nice memorable pictures and video. Both were great to work with and I would recommend this company for special events. I think if you are specific to what you want and you let them know, they can work with you on getting specific shots. So here are some things I would probably change. For Daniel, I am not sure if he took several shots of the family pictures since there were quite a bit, but there were some with people's eyes that were closed. As for Gregory, do to the expanse of the venue we chose, the audio during the ceremony is hard to hear. I am not sure if there is a way to get 2 mics and see which would have gotten better sound. Overall: My experience with Eivan's Photo Inc was a good experience. I would say though, Daniel and Gregory were the photography/videography team I worked with that did a great job, so I cannot comment on how the other photographers/videographers are. After initially reaching out for a quote, A&A asked us to met them at a cafe to get to know each other better. This alone was an amazingly thoughtful step and allowed us to feel comfortable with each other prior to our wedding day. RATES: Yes, 312 Film is more expensive than some other vendors, but we loved that their package was simple and straightforward--no upgrades and extras. If you're investing in a wedding video at all, it's worth going big and preserving your day in the best way possible. With them you get more than a camera for a couple of hours, but gifted storytellers and editors who are dedicated to showcasing your wedding in a way that's better than you even remember. WEDDING DAY: I'll never forget the moment Anna showed up (Artem was in large part with my groom--which is another HUGE perk of booking the two of them), she walked over to my stressed self and was an incredibly calming presence, crouching down while I was getting my make-up done and holding my hand to say hello in such a soothing way. I immediately knew that whatever happened, I had the most capable crew and absolutely nothing to worry about. Also, having a drone might sound extra, BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT. PRODUCT: First of all, not enough can be said about the next-day clip. It may seem unnecessary on paper, but when you wake up the morning after your wedding a jumble of emotions and "did that just happen?" thoughts, it's the most incredible gift to receive. I IMMEDIATELY burst into tears upon seeing it and was so excited to share. Weeks later, I had the same teary eyed reaction to our highlight video which was perfectly edited to tell such a meaningful story of our relationship and marriage. I loved every minute--and when there were three shots that I was self-conscious about, they were so easy to work with in providing an edit. As for the full length, the one added cost of working with 312Film, DO IT. I can't imagine our wedding day being whittled down to 8-minutes, and this cut is just perfect in capturing every second--including the ones we don't quite remember. So when it came time to book my videographer for my August 2018 wedding I immediately went to the I Do Video by Leo website thinking I would ask for Mike. But fell into A RABBIT HOLE seriously for like two hours watching Leo's videos. There was no doubt about it I was booking him. Through out the process of planning the wedding, he was so attentive and responsive. Day of he was kind, professional and just amazing to work with!! And he literally captures everything but you barely see him!? How does he do it!! After all the planning I felt so good knowing I was going to love the final product! And I can tell you...I LOVE THE FINAL CUTS!! I received a wedding trailer (1 min), a short wedding video (3-5 min) and then a longer wedding video (hour long). He also sends the raw footage and final cuts via flash drive as well. DO NOT HESITATE, BOOK LEO.
