Title: Poor planning, delays, and damaged mattress Review: What should have been a straightforward 2BR + office local move (~9 miles) turned into a stressful multi-day process due to poor planning and coordination. Specialty packing materials discussed in advance for high-value framed jerseys were not prepared ahead of time, creating significant delays and forcing time-consuming on-site workarounds. What should have been a one-day move stretched across multiple days. The unloading timeline was pushed late into the evening, my mattress was separated from the main delivery, and I ultimately had to sleep on the floor waiting for it to be returned the following day. Most concerning, the mattress arrived damp, stained, odorous, and physically damaged with visible tearing to the fabric and cover. It required immediate professional cleaning and inspection. I later learned the company had already contacted the same mattress cleaning professional before the mattress was even returned to me, which raised additional concerns about how the item was handled during transit. The building elevator was also damaged during the move. While several crew members worked hard and were professional, the larger issues appeared to stem from management, preparation, and oversight. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for moves involving high-value or sensitive items. read more

Great people. Good work. Even helped me figure out furniture placement. Movers were professional and honest. Really made me feel safe

87 Movers. I HIGHLY recommend them! They put us on their schedule pretty quickly. Tony was easy to work with in regards to planning the move and figuring out what type of truck and how big our moving team would need to be. Steven and James were the team that worked on our move at our house and they BOTH were AMAZINGLY outstanding. They wrapped EVERYTHING with so much care. Some of the items, I wasn't worried about at all, but they wrapped it all and when they got to our new house, they WRAPPED the banister to prevent any damage. I was so impressed. In addition, they took apart the King bed and this audio Couch and put it all back together with such ease. They carried everything and were soooo careful about our walls. They put everything where we wanted it and took the utmost care with all of our items. I can't thank them enough for their strength, patience, and expertise at packing and taking and putting things together! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend 87 Movers and ask for Steven and James. They make a GREAT TEAM!!!!!! read more

Terrible service wouldn't recommend they forgot items in the move that was left back from a 40 foot Matson container. And I only had 27 gallon storage bins. They could not fit 2 vehicles in Matson container. Their packing was very disorganized from start to end. Their took out things from the container 3 time trying to fit my cars in. Had to ship my car separately and paid more money. The owner is very very disorganized. Do not use the company. They had to hire independent people from other company. read more

Had a major issue with PODS, they let my container slide on their forklift forks and it broke the floor out of my moving container. The manager called me to explain the situation and gave me a solution of getting a new, more sturdy container and hiring movers to do the work of moving my items from the broken container to the new one. They ended up covering the cost to hire 87 Movers to do so. The two gentlemen that did the transfer of the items were great, they were careful and helped fish everything out of the broken flooring as it sat on one of the PODS flatbed trucks on their loading dock. I can only speak for this one experience, but the guys were solid and I appreciated their effort to get it done swiftly and carefully. read more

They were very friendly, cautious, and thorough! One of the movers scratched our bedframe, but one of the movers who is also a repairman came to fix it in a few days. I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we'd definitely use 87 movers again! read more

I used them for my move at the end of June. They did a decent job for the most part. They showed up a little bit late, but stuff happens. They were super great at padding stuff to load and move it. Load out was pretty good. Until a vintage piece of glass got broken. Tony promised to replace it - borrowing another piece for measuring it - and I still haven't gotten it. No response to my messages and it's been almost six months and it's holding up some of my unpacking. That's what makes me not fully confident in recommendation. read more

87 Movers was exceptional! We were recommended to Tony's company from a friend, and found them to be spot on. Between the initial estimate, recommendations for transport and storage, and maximization of packing space the whole experience was beyond expectations! Tony provided helpful packing tips, good moving information, and even dropped off additional packing supplies prior per our request. Our lead mover was quite a standout on moving day but all of the movers were very good! His Tetris packing skills were excellent and he was very efficient! Kathy was also a bright light throughout the process. She was very friendly and accommodating! I would recommend them to anyone in need of careful, comprehensive, and supportive moving services. read more

Frank and Angelo came to help me unload a vontainer we shipped from MA to NV. They were very careful with my belongings and setup everybody with care and according to my directions. I greatly appreciate Tony who was able to get me set up with an appointment in a tight timeline. read more

I didn't go with your company because of all the weirdness. So you lost a customer before you even had one. And everything I said in my review was 100% true. Thanks. read more

From the first contact this company was responsive, caring and great communicators! On packing day, Caleb and Thomas were punctual, pleasant and got everything moved and or wrapped efficiently. In this noisy world, their kindness and professionalism really helped calm the usual stress of moving! We are so grateful to both Caleb and Thomas and the follow-up by Tony, owner of 87 Movers. We wholeheartedly recommend this caring company! read more

Excellent in all areas. Scheduling, communication, and promptness were very good. Packing, loading, caring, and common sense were priorities for the team. They were moving a friend's goods and I was preset to open storage and I was very pleased with Caleb and Thomas. RTG read more

I recently used them to move from my house to a storage unit. I have had bad experiences with movers in the past so I'm always apprehensive. I called a lot of places and they were the friendliest, easiest to work with and the best price. The whole move went smoothly. They were friendly yet professional, worked fast but were very careful with our things. They did a great job loading all my stuff into the storage unit and finished in good time. Highly recommend them, will be using them again! read more

This company moved my mom three months ago. They broke her adjustable bed in the process. It's been three months of excuses, and wrong part ordered, and lies. No one comes when they saw they will, very unreliable. Their "fix it" guy is unreliable and constantly makes excuses. We are going to pay an outside firm to do the repair and send them the bill. Unacceptable that an elderly women has to wait three months to sleep supported. read more

I called this company from the Bay Area for a move I needed done out in Henderson, not only did they get the job scheduled in a day they followed up with me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend this company over and over again. Thank you all especially Tony he was very helpful. read more

I would not even give these movers a 1 star. Let's start with the 1st appointment when the owner didn't even show up to give my estimate. When I called him he said he was busy and couldn't get to a scheduled appointment. That should have been my first clue. When he did show up I told him it would like 4 guys here. He said he thinks 3 was enough. I was running out of time to find someone else. The day of moving got pushed to the next day due to rain. Honestly that afternoon they could have done it. The day of only 2 guys show up. The owner Tony tells me that he is having staffing issues. I had no idea they only had 3 employees. I have this very heavy concrete dinning table. And sure enough my table got dropped in the pod. I didn't know the damage until 2 weeks later when it was unpacked. My table that is a restoration hardware brand new table got chipped. These movers did not wrap anything. They put a blanket over and under. I have moved several times in Las Vegas. And used different movers. If you are thinking of using them. Please do not. When I called the owner to tell him the most important piece of furniture that I have got chipped .. his response was what do you want me to do about it. Wow.. And he knew that from our 1st time meeting that I was worried about this table. You would think he would have made sure and had more than 2 guys there. It was way to heavy for just two guys. read more

I called Tony from 87 movers and he picked up a treadmill for me from the person I bought it from and brought to my house for a great price. It did not quite fit through my door so he removed the door and gently brought it in and set up for me. Great guy, great service, great price. I highly recommend him for any of your moving needs!! This company arrived several hours late and with only a partial crew. One of the late arrival helpers had to leave half way through loading. We were quoted four hours and in the end has to pay an additional $700 due to their extended loading time. They quite before the truck was loaded and told me I could finish myself because they were tired. Every single piece of our furniture had damage upon arrival at our destination. Several pieces damaged beyond repair. We are out several thousands now to replace a dresser, bookshelves and tv cabinets. Buyer beware! read more

I moved from California to Las Vegas and found this company on Yelp. Prices were super affordable, definitely the cheapest in the area. The men were very communicative on timing, where I wanted things and were very professional. They were in and out within 30 minutes. Best unloading experience I've ever had. read more

My dear old mom used to call me "Doubting Thomas" because I was hard to convince that something was true. Well, when it came to having my 8'x16' Unit container loaded and packed with thee over 100 boxes I had, furniture, bed, my bike and my crates full of my stained glass work which is very heavy and fragile, and so many chairs and other items, I was AMAZED at the precision and professional packing that employees Chris and Caleb did because I had doubts that it would all fit, BUT IT DID!!! WOW! I even had room to spare. These two men were the BEST! They were so polite and friendly and even handled all my things with great care. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Give them a call. You'll be just as amazed as I was. And thanks to owners Kathy and Tony for having a wonderful company as theirs. read more
