It took him 3 tries to actually get to us after setting dates(there were 3 additional weather no shows that he could have at least told us about).
He did not aerate the backyard when it was in the estimate.
He seeded an area that he was specifically told not to seed(it was our vegetable garden area).
He put some straw mesh over parts of the reseed(with no apparent rhyme or reason to which areas he covered-it looked like he just ran out for the remainder). This is the worst feature in that it curled up so I could not leave it, if I felt that was the best thing(the literature is all over the map-take up early, take up late, leave there forever) to do. So I pulled it up. Several hours later of lifting up, searching for the staples(my first mowing after the mesh was pulled up took hours as I had to keep stopping to pull out the mesh from the gears of the mower), raking, I am still finding strands of plastic mesh and staples coming out of the ground. So I guess my dogs will never be able to be off the leash in my own yard, as they are at risk for getting injured by the knife-sharp mesh strands and by the one inch by 4 inches steel staples. I called him up to complain after he did not answer his email(when he said to please email him with any questions) and he said he would be by to re-seed(because in addition the seed did not fully take-it looks like I did it), aerate and check the string-staple situation. Of course he has not showed nor called to let me know he is not coming because we had some rain last night. Do not let this company near your property.
Addendum: He did come by today to do the aeration for the backyard, without any apparent damage to the property. He said he did not do initially due to the ground being too wet, which would hold up if he had explained that and perhaps made a date to come back to do. He also had no remedy for the mesh string mess that the yard has and no explanation for why it the straw mesh curled up on the edges.
