Installers were very professional. you could tell that they knew what they were doing and had done this many times before. I had previously used CRS for new windows and the service and quality were just the same. David and Scot answered all questions and cleaned up very well before they left the job. After calling some of the big names (Anderson being one of them) who told me my job was too small, I finally got hold of CRS Exteriors. They immediately scheduled a person to come to my home and give me an estimate. Alan Keck, the company owner, responded, measured and gave me a set quote for a fully life warranted window. I signed the contract and he ordered the window (all of which are custom made by the Amish in Ohio. Two months later, the window had been constructed and sent to CRS. Today, Tyler and Jordan, two of the installers, came out, removed the old window and installed the new in about 2 hours. They were courteous, respectful of my home, did a great job and left only after they had vacuumed up every last piece of detritus. I am impressed, totally satisfied and would eagerly recommend CRS for any exterior need.

The project turned out so much better than we had hoped. In addition to replacing the siding, the added Tyvek between the exterior walls and siding. This will help protect the walls going forward. Our previous windows were aluminum and never opened or closed well. They were always cold or warm depending on the weather. And we often felt a draft coming from them. The new windows are vinyl, nearly two times thicker, and much more temperate stable. They feel like the inside temperature. Also, they are double hung, so much easier to maintain. As a bonus, outside noises are much less noticeable. They replaced a double window in the back with dual opening French Doors. And eliminated a single door. The siding change makes it look like the door was always there. The new siding is also vinyl, but seems to be a thicker gauge than the previous siding. It's also foam backed, and this adds a little to the R value of the walls. Additionally, the siding is wider double 6" top to bottom versus the previous double 4". The panels are also much longer than before, so there are far fewer seams. I'm sure this contributes to the outside quietness we've observed. They also replaced the gutters. We went from small, white gutters to larger black ones. The downspouts are also black. Both serve to outline the house better than the previous ones. We've always needed a front porch. Both when it rains, so I don't get soaked when unlocking the door. And to protect the door from the relentless sun. We had previously replaced the door, and had the new one refinished and repainted a few times. The heat was enough to destroy the handle and the lock two times. (Our house faces due south, so sun all day, in every season.) This has been fantastic during the days it's raining. And our door has been much cooler. Between the gutters, the porch, the siding, and the windows our home no longer looks like other homes in our neighborhood. It's much more distinctive and we have received several compliments from neighbors.

Then when you find out and call pinnacle and tell them you do not want to go through pinnacle, I even go so far as to call the loan companies themselves. And tell them you do not want to go through with a contract. Pinnacle finds a way to still go through it, so they are very misleading. I just got a letter from expedian letting me know that my credit rating was lower drastically. And my loan was denied not sure why it was denied, I refuse to go with the process before it was denied. Also trying to get a hold of the manager was trying to pull teeth he was always in a meeting or not in the office. Finally I got a hold of him and made him send me a letter to where I can send it to all the credit companies Expedien, TransUnion, Equifax, explaining Pinnacles deception. I know TransUnion said they would accept the letter, so I'm not sure about the other credit companies.

One of the windows was terribly undersized. The installers measured it and looked at it for a long time before deciding to put it in. One installed it was obvious it wouldn't work but they had broken the original window during removal. It took 30 days for Champion to come back and remeasure. I was told the window would be "expedited". The second installation happened 126 days after the re-measurement, but the window that arrived was the same size as the window from the previous installation. Once again, the window was "expedited" and 112 days later the window arrived. It was installed and was a good fit. In total, it took 264 days to get a single window. Like many other reviews, I contacted Champion a number of times and was promised return calls but they never came. I asked the company if they would remove that last window from the remaining balance. From the time I signed the contract until they finally completed the job was 380 days. They willingly admitted a total breakdown but flatly refused to consider my request. Their answer was simple - "We don't do that." They did offer - informally - that I might be able to get a good deal on future services, but at this point, that statement is laughable at best. I will not consider using Champion in the future and would highly recommend others do the same.
